Powerful Team of Support & Guidance

Looking Ahead to Autumn 2025 ~ My 11th HRM Journey
Autumn 2025 will mark my 11th consecutive HRM journey, a milestone I could never have imagined when I first started. My HRM story began with a healthy dose of hesitation; I needed quite a bit of convincing to join. I figured, “It’s just 12 weeks… how much could it really change?”
Well, those 12 weeks flew by, and what began as a reluctant commitment quickly turned into something I genuinely loved. I found myself part of a community that not only supported me, but one I felt deeply connected to. It became the foundation for a healthier, happier lifestyle ~ one that I’ve now sustained through 10 incredible journeys, including 3 as an ambassador.
After taking a break from the ambassador role, I’m so excited to be back and ready to cheer on, encourage, and support all the amazing women stepping into this space. Whether it’s your first time or your 20th, each journey brings something new, and I can’t wait to experience this one with you.
A Little About Me:
♥️ I turned 50 last year, and honestly, I feel stronger and healthier than ever thanks to this lifestyle.
♥️ I’m a proud mom to two incredible humans who are finding their way in the world.
♥️ My partner and I have been together for 26 years, and we live in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, just outside of Edmonton, where I was born and raised.
♥️ I’ve been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2001, and I still love what I do. Helping people live pain-free and improve their quality of life has always been a true passion.
As I step into this next chapter, I’m filled with gratitude, excitement, and energy. I truly believe each journey is its own story, full of lessons, growth, challenges, and wins. I’m honored to share this next Chapter with all of you.
Let’s make Autumn 2025 unforgettable…together💪🏻🍁

Hello beauties and welcome to Autumn Journey 2025! I am so honoured and excited to be joining the Ambassador team for this journey. Welcome to this incredible community, we’re so glad you’re joining us!
I'm a proud HRM lifer, having started my first journey in Autumn of 2017. It was exactly what I needed at that period of my life and it has continued to be there for me. Fall means back to routine ~ is there a better time to commit to your health? Getting outside with my family is one of my favourite ways to get moving. I’m married to my husband Alan and together we have two daughters, Lucy and Maggie. We live just outside of Winnipeg in a cozy small town which we love. Weekly walks up town for the mail and groceries helps break up the week with fresh air and some extra steps. During the day I’m an Insurance Broker and in the evenings, I spend my time in the studio teaching dance. I love the challenge that comes with both professions but being able to share my passion for dance with my students is my bucket filler.
I found Healthy Role Models in the way that I strive to share this community. I was a ripple. Two incredible women in my life started talking about running stairs and skipping rope while waiting for their kids to be done their activities.
Watching these women make room in their life for movement was the kick in the butt I needed to remember that I can do that to. I was a new mom, heading back to work and trying to balance all the things that comes with that. So, I started tagging along. I ran the stairs. And that’s all it took for me to find the value in the pride that comes from doing something for yourself and your health. I was hooked on that feeling and this incredible community.
You’ll see me and my #girlsquad on the page often. They are my why. They certainly don’t do every exercise but they’re right there watching me as I do. I want to be strong for them as their mother, as a fellow woman and as a friend. They see me take on the physical challenge of the workouts and I want that to translate for them into their approach for handling what life will throw their way. We can’t always be ready for everything, but we certainly can be strong to take it on.
Making room for this journey in your life may seem daunting. I know for me in the beginning it certainly did. If I can share any advice, it would be to go with the flow and trust your gut. Don’t be afraid to try something different. Chanel the fear of the unknown into some grit and dig deep for that sweat. Reach out to me and this community. We’ll help you every step of the way. Let’s do this!

Becca Nicholson ~ Kimberley, BC

Hello and welcome to the HRM autumn 2025 journey!
My name is Becca and I live in Kimberley, BC. This is my 10th journey with HRM and first time as an ambassador.
I was introduced to HRM from one of my best friends and love the flexibility it offers. As a Public Health Nurse, wife, and mom of 3 kids and 2 dogs, life is busy. HRM has given me a way to stay active on my own time with an amazing support group of inspiring women. I like that I can fit the exercises in whenever I have spare time and that there is always someone there to support me when I am feeling unmotivated. Over the years my kids have watched me stay active and this has had an amazing ripple effect on them. They often join me in my workouts and have started their own healthy habits.
My advice to you this journey would be to stay involved in the group. It is so much easier to be successful with support. We are not meant to do everything alone.
I am so excited to be an ambassador this journey. Please reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or just need additional support. Let’s do this together!
Christine McBride ~ Winnipeg, MB

Welcome here and welcome back to each and every one of you beautiful, strong women who find yourselves here. Making yourself and your health a priority is a big step and I see you here for it!
This will be my 14th journey and 8th as an ambassador and I can’t imagine myself anywhere else. I love this community so much and cherish the friendships, knowledge, and inspiration I receive each journey (and in between!).
I am a proud member of the #mbcrew and call Winnipeg home. I'm 47, married to Andy for 20 years, mom to Sam (18) and Grace (10), and we round out the household with the fur babies, Rico, Skelly, and Luna. I work at a large aerospace company here in the city and just this summer, after over a year and a half of training, I am now signed off as a Quality Inspector. Do you need your helicopter engine modules certified? I’m your gal! 🙌😉
I came to HRM through a good friend and I have never looked back! This community is positive and supportive in a way like no other. It is more than just an “exercise program”. Inspiration, support, personal growth, yoga, breathing, videos for proper form, events, and fun, to name a few! Friendships too, because I can’t forget those! I have met so many women that I never would have met otherwise, in person and virtually. Some on the other side of the country and some on the other side of the world! We are brought together with a desire to do something for us, to put ourselves at the top of that to-do list, to grow and change and challenge ourselves. It is truly inspiring.
Whether this is your first journey or you’re a seasoned veteran I encourage you to make this journey your own. If you need to focus on one thing, do that. Is there something new you want to try but it’s out of your comfort zone? Share that, lean on us, we will support you like nobody’s business! Need some accountability for late night snacking, becoming an early bird, that first Zoom workout, upping those weights? We’ve got you! Reach out. Did you read a post and were inspired? Tell that goddess because that’s how we make those all important connections that are what we call the “secret sauce”. I know it’s scary to do but it feels so good to give and receive support!
I always end with a promise to keep it real every journey and this one is no exception. You will see me as I am, the ups and the downs, the challenges, the fist pumping moments and everything in between.
You are worth being here.
Let’s go girls.
Colleen Deckert ~ Winnipeg, MB

This will be my 14th journey and I have LOVED being an ambassador and have learned so much about this community and about myself!
I’ve completed 13 journeys, all with varying degrees of success. Given my previous busy work schedule (including lots of travel), I had such a difficult time sticking to the program and certainly not engaging in The Posse. Sometimes I was just treading water to get to the end of the journey thinking ‘my NEXT journey will be the one!”
All that changed with my retirement 3 years ago which has afforded me the luxury of time…time for me, time to focus on my fitness goals and time to connect with this beautiful community. Who would have thought that, in retirement, I’d be getting up at 5:30 three times a week to support and be supported by the early morning Zoom crew! #willworkoutforstickers
I look forward to our in-person connections and am so proud of the #mbcrew and the incredible people I’ve met. Now my workouts are a non-negotiable part of my life and my daily routine.
I’ve recently gone back to my job, on a contract, and have been able to continue with my commitment to fitness thanks to the strong foundation I’ve built over the last several journeys.
A little about me…born and raised in Manitoba, I am a prairie girl living in Winnipeg and turned 63 this summer. I’ve been married for over 41 years, we have four grown children and seven grandbabies. I love dogs, nature, gardening and believe in family and long-time treasured friendships.
I have a deep desire to share inspiration and provide insight wherever I can. I continually look for ways to surround myself with positive role models who embody this belief, like I do. I am committed to sharing in your wins and lifting you up when you lose your way - I understand this as I’ve been there too.
As we prepare for this Autumn journey, I’m excited to take this journey with you all.
Danielle McCune ~ Qualicum Beach, BC

First time #AmbassadorDMcDucky here and I am very excited to cheer on all my Healthy Role Model Sisters for the Autumn 2025 Journey!
I was honoured with being chosen as a Finalist on the last Journey and I contribute a lot of my success to staying fully engaged in this amazing community!!
By showing up for yourself along with support from your fellow HRMs I truly believe we can all accomplish the extraordinary life we deserve. Post your #swelfies join a zoom and be sure to check out an in person HRM event!! Even if you don't know anyone, go solo like I did and because we are all striving for similar goals I guarantee you'll make some fabulous friends!!
More about me...
I turned 40 last year and am loving it!
I am a Registered Veterinary Technician!!
I have an 8yr old Malamute x Husky named Misty.
I was first introduced to HRM by my awesome friend Megan!
Now my amazing mom, Aelia, is joining us for her first journey!
I adore nature and live part time at an off-grid property on the North Island. Currently my partner and I are building an ocean front cabin, it is hard work but truly a dream come true! What dreams are you pursuing right now?
The rest of the time I am in Qualicum Beach where we enjoy a weekly stair HIIT session!! I am thrilled to say that even though I find cardio very difficult, making a fit date with other ladies in the community has made it fun!! While still challenging, it is so empowering to overcome hard things!
Since joining HRM I have realized consistent healthy habits come from chasing the feeling and not focusing on the number on the scale! I am here to feel strong both physically and mentally!
I am currently working hard at earning my first unassisted pull up #GrowingMyWings so watch for me to rise up!! I am also training towards running a 10km in under an hour! What are your fitness goals?
I am also working every day on repairing poor body image, anxiety and low self-esteem. I am always reinforcing loving myself and appreciating what my body CAN do!!! I think daily positive affirmations and speaking kindly to yourself goes a long way!! You are worthy now, just as you are!
The tools for success are all here but the secret sauce is the community! We are all here to lift each other up! Reach out if you have questions, need support or an accountability buddy or are just looking to make a new friend! I can't wait to see all we will accomplish together on this journey! We've got this! 💪🐤

Hey Healthy Role Models!
I’m super pumped to be returning as an Ambassador for Autumn 2025! It’s so motivating in my own personal journey to be cheering you all on and celebrating wins together!
I live in Brandon MB with my husband, teenage daughter and 2 pups. Our #brandoncrew is small but mighty!
My health journey has been just that, a journey! I have been there and done that. I joined HRM after losing my mom as a “weight loss” plan. 9 years ago!
I have essentially grown up within the HRM community. The things I have learned, the people I have met and connected with, and the strength I’ve built - both emotionally and physically, are all because of HRM. It’s such a well rounded community that builds a foundation of health, that everyone should have successes! It’s what you make of it, you get what you give!
I’m so excited to be here alongside some badass women to help everyone reach those goals and wins!
Let’s GOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Denise Levorson ~ Cabri, SK

Hello and Welcome to all the new and returning HRM’s! Yes you are in the right place! This is the Autumn Journey 2025 and it’s going to be AMAZING!!
I am so excited and honored to be an ambassador within this community of liked minded women who put their health and wellness as a priority while supporting each other!
My name is Denise and I joined HRM in Autumn of 2017 and this will be my 4th time in the role of ambassador. My last few journeys have been my most successful due to a variety of reasons but the biggest and most important one is the connections of this HRM community!
I am 59 years young, retired 2 years from management in health care. I grew up in Saskatoon and didn’t know what a farmer was until I married one! I am happily married and celebrated 36 years of wedded bliss this summer! We farm at Cabri, Saskatchewan! I have 2 amazing adult kids along with their spouses! The best is being a “ Grammy” to Leo and Mya! This is my “why” FAMILY! I have to be strong and fit for me and for them!
HRM is more than a fitness program for me, I have learned to make my health a priority, set goals and boundaries, be proud of my accomplishments, create positive energy and a mindset. This is a lifestyle!
The information and support you will receive is incredible and you are not alone! There is valuable information on nutrition and physio support it truly is the best program you will find.
The biggest take away is to BELIEVE in yourself that you can accomplish anything that you set your heart and mind too. Stay engaged on the page, reach out to others, join the in person events , the virtual ZOOM events and you will gain new friendships and camaraderie with others who share in the same interests as you!
I look forward to cheering you on as well as the inspiration you will be giving me!!
Let’s do this💪🫶

Diane Antoniuk ~ Bonnyville, AB

Welcome to Autumn Journey 2025! I look forward to cheering you all on and celebrating your successes. When I first joined HRM, I never would have imagined I would become a part of the Ambassador team. I am so honoured to be joining this journey as an Ambassador for the 3rd time! How incredible is that?
I joined HRM in the spring of 2021. It was FOMO mostly. Many of my colleagues joined that spring and I didn’t want to be left out. Little did I know, how it would change my life in so many ways. After 9 journeys, I’m still here and can’t imagine my life without HRM. With some recent health scares for myself and my husband, I know that being a part of this community has had a large impact on how I have been able to navigate those trying times. The support from this community is like no other I have ever experienced.
During my first journey I turned 50, and I am now at level 54. I was raised on a farm and always said I would never marry a farmer. Well… my farmer husband and I have been married for 27 years. Our 19-year-old daughter is going into her 2nd year of University, and our 17-year-old son will be graduating high school in June.
As a family, we love to ski, snowmobile, water ski, and scuba dive. We feel very blessed that our teenagers still want to spend this time with us.
I have so much advice but I’ll just say these 3 things.
*Take those swelfies and post on the page.

There are so many beautiful connections in this community. It really is the secret sauce!
Connection is the key that brings it all together. We all love celebrating each other. Let’s DO THIS!
Evelyn Parker ~ Parksville, BC

Hello and welcome HRM sisters!
My name is Evelyn and this will be my 10th consecutive HRM journey. I love this magical community so much I cannot imagine not having it in my life. The Autumn Journey is extra magical, so I am so excited and completely honoured to serve as an HRM ambassador for the second time this Autumn.I was born and raised on Vancouver Island and love where I live. I reside in Parksville, BC with my husband of 30 years and our senior fur-baby, a black lab named Zoey. We have two adult children (ages 29 and 32), who live in Australia and Courtenay, BC.I work as a controller for a busy boat dealership and because I love numbers and bookkeeping so much, I also have a bookkeeping business. When I am not behind a desk, I am burning off my excess energy riding my road bike or spin bike, running on trails and roads, hiking, paddle boarding and strength training with my fellow HRMs. Thanks to Healthy Role Models I now know firsthand, the benefits of strength training for health and longevity. Since joining this community I have become stronger physically and mentally. The community of like-minded women is a powerful force that inspires, challenges and motivates in a loving, magical way. I have experienced first-hand the incredible feeling of connecting with women who want to support you and see you grow and succeed. I cannot wait to play a more active role in these connections in an ambassador. The Healthy Role Models philosophy and formula for physical and mental success is fool proof. Feeling isolated and lonely? Reach out in the community. Someone will always be there to cheer you on, and help you pick yourself back up. Experiencing an injury or physical setback? That's okay! HRM embraces modifying for your individual needs while still progressing. It is a beautiful thing. Need some advice or education? Healthy Role Models has in-house experts that are pros in their respective fields. Also, your fellow Healthy Role Models are a wealth of knowledge and resources, eager to be of assistance. It is my absolute pleasure to be here and I cannot wait to cheer you on and watch you thrive and flourish in this community rich with support and love. I look forward to supporting you as we work towards our healthy lifestyle goals together!💖 Evelyn
Jacqueline Bennett ~ Victoria, BC

Hello HRM beauties and welcome to the 2025 Autumn Journey!!!
My name is Jacqueline Bennett (aka Jax) and I am beyond excited and very honoured to be one of your Ambassadors for this journey.
I am so looking forward to growing and thriving with you all during this journey and helping to make it one of our best yet! This will be my 21st journey with Healthy Role Models. Joining this incredible community was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I cannot imagine life without it. I have formed lifelong friendships here and it has truly changed me inside and out.
A little bit about me, I am married to a wonderful husband who was my teenage sweetheart and we have a 13 year old son James and a six year old dog Bella. I am an Emergency Dispatch Coordinator for Fortis BC (LOVE my job) and work full time. We live in Victoria BC and one of our favourite past times is boating on our 34’ catamaran. During the summer months you will find us exploring the Gulf Islands as much as we can enjoying hiking, kayaking, swimming, and soaking in alllll the #outdoorphins we can!!
I joined HRM back in the Fall of 2015 when I was at my heaviest weight and not very happy in life. When I first heard about this group I honestly thought, “How much could an on-line fitness group truly help me?” I was admittedly skeptical but shortly after joining I could see how special this group truly was. I discovered one of the main things missing for me before…Connection! This is one of the most unique things about HRM, connection. It is what brings the magic. So different from anything I had done and I have been hooked ever since. By being so connected to the group and learning all that I can, I feel more empowered and confident than I ever have before. HRM isn’t just about exercise, it is SO much more. It is a journey of learning how to live a healthier life, a journey of mental wellness and learning to love yourself and every imperfect part of you!
I made a commitment to make my health a priority so that I would be a better person for myself and my family and I am excited and honoured to help you along your journey to achieve your health and wellness goals as I continue towards mine too!
Katie Hiller ~ Beaumont, AB

Hello and welcome to the Autumn 2025 journey!
I have been a part of the HRM community since the spring of 2017. I was looking for a way to be consistent with my health after having my kids when I noticed a friend of mine was eating better and looking healthy. She recommended HRM, and I haven’t looked back since!
I am a high school science teacher and my husband and I have two girls who are 11 and 14. I love that for most of their lives they’ve known me as someone who works out! What an amazing thing to be able to model for them.
HRM has given me the support that I need to stay moving, and the confidence to try new things. When you can see other women like you doing cool activities, it tells your brain that you can probably do those things too. Since joining HRM, I have hiked to the top of several mountains, paddle boarded in the ocean, and regularly do fun things with my family like aerial parks! I can also do not-as-cool things (like help move heavy boxes) way more easily than I could before. Truly training for life!
I love the accountability that this community provides, and I hope that you reach out if you ever have questions or need encouragement. Looking forward to crushing it with you!
Kim Bresky ~ Brandon, MB

Welcome to the best community you will ever be a part of!
My name is Kim and I am part of the kick butt #mbcrew. My HRM adventure started in April of 2018 when I joined my sister and friends to Victoria for TC10K. I didn’t know what to think of HRM, but being an introvert (and skeptic), I knew it wasn’t for me. I sat on the sidelines watching the runners and managed to sneak a spot beside Sarah and a few others. They cried, they cheered, they knew everyone’s name and their story. Who are these people? Why are they being so positive and encouraging? I joined HRM that Fall when my sister suggested I join. So like the good little sister I am, I joined. I left briefly due to building a house and starting school. I rejoined Fall 2020 and haven’t left.
I live on a small acreage outside of Brandon, MB with my husband, 2 kids, cats, a dog and chickens. Any animal that finds its way onto my land, I’m going to try to convince my husband to let us keep it. My version of self care is baking, making sour dough, canning or cleaning.
I am a Registered Nurse working in our local Correctional Centre. I love my job and love being in healthcare. Since becoming a mom, health has been a major focus in our household. They say nurses make the worst patients, so my goal is to never be one!
Welcome to Autumn 2025 Journey! Make yourself a priority and embrace the process!
Laurelle Loe, St. Albert, AB

Welcome!
My name is Laurelle, and I’m so excited about what is ahead for us all. This is my 19th journey with Healthy Role Models and my 14th as an ambassador, and I say with certainty that our Healthy Role Model community is a very special place. Whatever your goals or reasons for being here... I can assure you that you belong!
I celebrated turning forty this past Christmas, and my husband and I will celebrate our 20th anniversary in the spring. We have four kids, and we both work full time. Life is full, fun, and seems to be getting a bit crazier each year the kids grow, but in the best way! We are so grateful for each day, and as time passes the importance of living well becomes more and more apparent.
Before I tell you about why I love HRM, I should explain a bit about where I was before joining in the autumn of 2016. I had just spent two years struggling against the scale, watching the numbers creep up and feeling my energy and confidence creep down. I never ate breakfast, survived on Diet Coke and coffee, and had those extra large sized bags of chips hidden in my car. I knew I wanted something different but I had no idea how to achieve it.
HRM offered me the tools I needed to make those changes. I have learnt how to make my health a priority, how to reshape negative habits into habits that serve my goals, and how to fuel my body. More than that, HRM offered me community and support - key pieces I didn’t even know I was missing - which have been an amazing blessing in my life. The ripples into my family and friends has been amazing - they inspire me daily.
It’s important to include that I am still here because this program is about a sustainable, achievable, and positive lifestyle. I have more capacity to tackle obstacles, adapt to uncertainty, and embrace new opportunities. Even in the midst of difficulty, I have found my outlook has shifted towards looking for what is possible, what is ahead...embracing and enjoying life in big and small ways.At the root of all of this is the HRM community, where we are encouraged to cheer, lift up, grow, and learn.
I love being here and I am so glad you are too!
Lesley Nichol ~ MacGregor, MB

Welcome to this incredible community of chosen sisters!
This is my 4th time as an Ambassador and it is truly my honour to have been selected.
My name is Lesley and I live in a small rural community called MacGregor, Manitoba. This is my 12th consecutive journey with HRM and without sounding dramatic, this community has changed my life!
I am a mother to three amazing adult children (Tyler, Connor and Emily) and I have been married for 301 years to a super supportive husband (Marc). My greatest title is when I get called “Grandma” from my almost 5-year-old granddaughter (Brae) and my 1-year-old granddaughter, Emmy. My family is my “why”.
I am forever indebted to my sister (Tracey Kleysen) for introducing me to HRM. That first journey I witnessed firsthand the impact and magic of this community. My mindset completely changed to feeling isolated and alone in creating new and improved healthier habits to embracing everyone’s advice and support in guiding me to a better place both physically and emotionally.
I have learned to make my health a priority, how to reshape negative thoughts and habits into positive ones and how to realistically set goals for myself. I have learned so much from this community including that I genuinely love the woman I am. I never realized the gift I would get from such a supportive team, cheering me on and inspiring me to be the best version of myself.
I can’t wait to support your journey as an ambassador. We will share our joys and our challenges but most importantly we will support each other through all of them.
Let pride be your metric! The fact that you signed up with HRM is already a huge win!
I am super pumped you are here! You have found the perfect place to land! This community is like no other! Let’s go……
Lesley
Michelle Drake ~ Courtenay, BC

Hello Healthy Role Models! I am excited to be gearing up for my 5th journey and beyond grateful to join the ambassador team for my second time. Born and raised in Campbell River on Vancouver Island, I haven’t strayed too far and now call Courtenay my home. There is nothing I love more than exploring all the wonderful things the Island has to offer with my husband (a sea captain) and our two daughters (aged 7 & 4).
I am an elementary French Immersion teacher in the Comox Valley and love that I get to go to work with my kiddo every day. I have many colleagues who are a part of the fabulous HRM community. More and more seem to be joining because this community is ✨inspiring✨!
Healthy Role Models found me in 2023 when I was struggling to find balance in my life. I was finding it challenging to return to a fitness routine after having children. My daughter had been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes a few months prior and I went from teacher and camp wife, to full on care support for my daughter overnight. Who knew how hard our pancreas works around the clock?! I was feeling isolated and exhausted. I was yearning for some sort of community and knew I needed to find a way to fill my own bucket in order to continue to show up for my family in all the new ways they needed me to (on top of all the ways I had been already). When a colleague and friend mentioned HRM, I jumped on it and never looked back! I had never experienced such an inspiring, positive and supportive community. Life had been feeling full - too full to work out, too full to prioritize myself. Once I embraced the HRM training for life mindset, I realized that my life could feel fulfilled. I reached level 40 in life last fall and feel stronger than ever - in body AND mind.
I challenge you to join me, to dive in. Do the workouts, make the space for you, take part in the community. I’ll be watching for you!
Michelle xo
Paula Flemming ~ Port Alberni, BC

I’m Pk, Paula, and this will be my 21st consecutive journey! I found Healthy Role Models when I was looking for a community that would support me in finding a healthy balanced lifestyle. I was drawn to the community for the focus on women supporting women.
I’m a grade 1 Education Assistant in a beautiful first nations school. My husband Kevin has embraced the lifestyle alongside me. I love that he will workout with me and is willing to try new recipes. HRM has become our LIFESTYLE.
I have gained confidence that has taken me to new heights. The women in the community inspire and motivate me to try new challenges. Because of HRM I have climbed mountains, rode a bike through Italy, run 10k in less than an hour, strong and healthy at 50. But most importantly to me I have a community with incredible friends.
I am honoured to be a part of your journey and look forward to being here right alongside you.
Rebecca Coley Hutchison ~ Courtenay, BC

Hi! I'm Rebecca! This is Journey #14 for me and my 5th time as an ambassador. I joined this amazing community in the Spring of 2018 after having my second baby to get some workouts that I could do at home and had no idea what was to come. This place is so much more than workouts, it's community, connection, inspiration, and accountability. I love to cheer people on and I look forward to cheering for YOU! I love it here!
I am a wife, a mum, a dog lover, a primary teacher, and a lover of the outdoors. I love running in the trails, dog walking, mountain biking, camping, and skiing, and living in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island provides plenty of opportunities! My husband and I have two little girls (6 & 8) and a dog. Role modeling a healthy lifestyle for them and being strong and able to keep up to them is what brought me here, but it's that feeling of strength in all areas of my life that keeps ME at the centre of my why. Life is busy and loud and full of all the things, but putting my health first helps me to show up as my best self. I love the feeling of being strong and it's because of this community that I am the most fit in my life... at 40!
You'll find me working out in the early mornings before the house gets moving for the day to make sure I get that time for me. I'm not a morning person, but morning workouts have become my jam. That feeling of pride sticks with you all day. You'll never regret it! Over the years a couple of lines from this program have really stuck with me: "Challenge equals change" when it's hard, it hurts, and you don't want to - dig deep and you'll be so glad you did. "Let pride be your metric" celebrate your wins, big or small!
I'm stoked you're here and can't wait to cheer you on. This place is truly magic!
xo Rebecca

I have been an Early Childhood Educator for 18 years and LOVE being able to support children and their families in every aspect of their life.
I was born and raised on Vancouver Island originally from Victoria BC, but currently reside in Nanaimo BC! #southislecrew
My family loves to go camping, go on nature walks, puddle jumping and visiting family in Victoria.
What brought me to HRM? I had seen the posts and people I have known talking about the program but I never thought it was for me. I had really let myself go and stopped loving myself and I was not making myself a priority. I was not happy. In Spring 2021 my step-mom, Leanne, gifted me the Spring 2021 journey and that was the most amazing gift she could have ever given me and I am so thankful! I then decided to take the plunge and take my life back into my hands not only for ME but for my daughter and fiancé and now my son. This community brought me joy, a sense of belonging and gave me my confidence back.
I am so thankful for The HRM community. I have never felt judged and have been able to connect with so many ladies through this program which I have always found hard to do outside of HRM. HRM is a safe place and I am proud to be part of the HRM family! I love this life I am creating and love the impact I am making for myself, my family and the community.
This journey my focus will be staying active and getting my movement whenever I can. I will be eating the rainbow and being PROUD of all that my body allows me to do! Because we deserve to be proud of ourselves we are important and we are worth it!
