HRM AMBASSADORS
some of whom have walked the very same path as you

Alycia Campbell ~ Stonewall, MB

Â
Hello beauties and welcome to Spring Journey 2025! I am so honoured and excited to be joining the Ambassador team for this journey. Welcome to this incredible community, weâre so glad youâre joining us!ÂÂThis is journey number 16 for me, and Iâll let you in on a little secret. Spring has always been my favourite journey. Thereâs just something magical about committing to your health as we start to feel the warmth of the sun return and see the green on the trees. Getting outside with my family is one of my favourite ways to get moving. Iâm married to my husband Alan and together we have two daughters, Lucy and Maggie. We live just outside of Winnipeg in a cozy small town which we love. Weekly walks up town for the mail and groceries helps break up the week with fresh air and some extra steps. During the day Iâm an Insurance Broker and in the evenings, I spend my time in the studio teaching dance. I love the challenge that comes with both professions but being able to share my passion for dance with my students is my bucket filler.ÂÂI found Healthy Role Models in the way that I strive to share this community. I was a ripple. Two incredible women in my life started talking about running stairs and skipping rope while waiting for their kids to be done their activities. Watching these women make room in their life for movement was the kick in the butt I needed to remember that I can do that to. I was a new mom, heading back to work and trying to balance all the things that comes with that. So, I started tagging along. I ran the stairs. And thatâs all it took for me to find the value in the pride that comes from doing something for yourself and your health. I was hooked on that feeling and this incredible community.Â
Youâll see me and my #girlsquad on the page often. They are my why. They certainly donât do every exercise but theyâre right there watching me as I do. I want to be strong for them as their mother, as a fellow woman and as a friend. They see me take on the physical challenge of the workouts and I want that to translate for them into their approach for handling what life will throw their way. We canât always be ready for everything, but we certainly can be strong to take it on.Â
Making room for this journey in your life may seem daunting. I know for me in the beginning it certainly did. If I can share any advice, it would be to go with the flow and trust your gut. Donât be afraid to try something different. Chanell the fear of the unknown into some grit and dig deep for that sweat. Reach out to me and this community. Weâll help you every step of the way.
Letâs do this!Â

Â
Welcome here and welcome back to each and every one of you beautiful, strong women who find yourselves here.  Making yourself and your health a priority is a big step and I see you here for it!
This will be my 13th journey (lucky number 13!) and 7th as an ambassador and I canât imagine myself anywhere else.  I love this community so much and cherish the friendships, knowledge, and inspiration I receive each journey (and in between!).Â
I am a proud member of the #mbcrew and call Winnipeg home.  I'm 46, married to Andy for 19 years, mom to Sam (18) and Grace (10), and we round out the household with the fur babies, Rico, Skelly, and Luna. I work at a large aerospace company here in the city and am training for a new role that has been challenging with so many new things to learn. Â
I came to HRM through a good friend and I have never looked back!  This community is positive and supportive in a way like no other.  It is more than just an âexercise programâ.  Inspiration, support, personal growth, yoga, breathing, videos for proper form, events, and fun, to name a few!  Friendships too, because I canât forget those!  I have met so many women that I never would have met otherwise, in person and virtually.  Some on the other side of the country and some on the other side of the world!  We are brought together with a desire to do something for us, to put ourselves at the top of that to-do list, to grow and change and challenge ourselves.  It is truly inspiring.
Whether this is your first journey or youâre a seasoned veteran I encourage you to make this journey your own. If you need to focus on one thing, do that.  Is there something new you want to try but itâs out of your comfort zone?  Share that, lean on us, we will support you like nobodyâs business!  Need some accountability for late night snacking, becoming an early bird, that first Zoom workout, upping those weights?  Weâve got you!  Reach out.  Did you read a post and were inspired?  Tell that goddess because thatâs how we make those all important connections that are what we call the âsecret sauceâ.  I know itâs scary to do but it feels so good to give and receive support!
I always end with a promise to keep it real every journey and this one is no exception.  You will see me as I am, the ups and the downs, the challenges, the fist pumping moments and everything in between.
You are worth being here.
Letâs go girls.
Colleen Deckert ~ Winnipeg, MB

This will be my 13th journey and my third time as an HRM Ambassador! I have LOVED being an ambassador and have learned so much about this community and about myself.
Iâve completed 12 journeys, all with varying degrees of success. Given my previous busy work schedule (including lots of travel), I had such a difficult time sticking to the program and certainly not engaging in The Posse. Sometimes I was just treading water to get to the end of the journey thinking âmy NEXT journey will be the one!â
All that changed with my retirement 2 years ago which has afforded me the luxury of timeâŠtime for me, time to focus on my fitness goals and time to connect with this beautiful community.
Who would have thought that, in retirement, Iâd be getting up at 5:30 three times a week to support and be supported by the early morning Zoom crew! #willworkoutforstickers
I look forward to our in-person connections too, and am so proud of the #mbcrew and the incredible people Iâve met. Now my workouts are a non-negotiable part of my life and my daily routine.
Iâve recently gone back to my job, on a contract, and have been able to continue with my commitment to fitness thanks to the strong foundation Iâve built over the last several journeys.
A little about meâŠborn and raised in Manitoba, I am a prairie girl living in Winnipeg and will turn 63 this summer. Iâve been married for over 40 years and we have four grown children and seven grandbabies. I love dogs, nature, gardening and believe in family and long-time treasured friendships.
I have a deep desire to share inspiration and provide insight wherever I can. I continually look for ways to surround myself with positive role models who embody this belief, like I do. I am committed to sharing in your wins and lifting you up when you lose your way - I understand this as Iâve been there too.
As we prepare for this Spring journey, Iâm excited to take this journey with you all.Â
Dawn Meek ~ Brandon, MB

Hey Healthy Role Models!
Iâm super pumped to be returning as an Ambassador for Spring 2025! Itâs so motivating in my own personal journey to be cheering you all on and celebrating wins together!
I live in Brandon MB with my husband, teenage daughter and 2 pups. Our #brandoncrew is small but mighty!
My health journey has been just that, a journey! I have been there and done that. I joined HRM after losing my mom as a âweight lossâ plan. 9 years ago!
I have essentially grown up within the HRM community. The things I have learned, the people I have met and connected with, and the strength Iâve built - both emotionally and physically, are all because of HRM. Itâs such a well rounded community that builds a foundation of health, that everyone should have successes! Itâs what you make of it, you get what you give!
Spring is such an amazing time to reset or revisit some old goals, and to make improvements in all areas of your life. Thereâs something refreshing about the warmer temps, longer days and the motivation to come out of hibernation.
Iâm so excited to be here alongside some badass women to help everyone reach those goals and wins!
Letâs GOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Denise Levorson ~ Cabri, SK

Hello and Welcome to all the new and returning HRMâs! Yes you are in the right place! This is the Spring Journey 2025 and itâs going to be AMAZING!!
I am so excited and honored to be an ambassador within this community of liked minded women who put their health and wellness as a priority while supporting each other!
My name is Denise and I joined HRM in Autumn of 2017 and this will be my 3rd time in the role of ambassador. My last few journeys have been my most successful due to a variety of reasons but the biggest and most important one is the connections of this HRM community!
I am 59 years young, retired 2 years from management in health care. I grew up in Saskatoon and didnât know what a farmer was until I married one! I am happily married and will celebrate 36 years of wedded bliss this summer! We farm at Cabri, Saskatchewan! I have 2 amazing adult kids along with their spouses! The best is being a â Grammyâ to Leo and another grand baby coming in August! This is my âwhyâ FAMILY! I have to be strong and fit for me and for them!
HRM is more than a fitness program for me, I have learned to make my health a priority, set goals and boundaries, be proud of my accomplishments, create positive energy and a mindset. This is a lifestyle!
The information and support you will receive is incredible and you are not alone! There is valuable information on nutrition and physio support it truly is the best program you will find.
The biggest take away is to BELIEVE in yourself that you can accomplish anything that you set your heart and mind too. Stay engaged on the page, reach out to others, join the in person events , the virtual ZOOM events and you will gain new friendships and camaraderie with others who share in the same interests as you!
I look forward to cheering you on as well as the inspiration you will be giving me!!
Letâs do thisđȘđ«¶

Â
Welcome to Spring Journey 2025! I am so honoured to be joining this journey as an Ambassador for the 2nd time! I look forward to cheering you all on and celebrating your successes.
During my first journey I turned 50, and never imagined I would become as strong as I am today. I am now 53 years young. I was raised on a farm and always said I would never marry a farmer. Never say never. My farmer husband and I have been married for 26 years. Our 19-year-old daughter graduated from high school in June, and is in her 1st year of University, and our 17-year-old son is in the 11th grade. HRM has really helped me navigate all those teenage hormones!
As a family, we love to ski, snowmobile, water ski, and scuba dive. We feel very blessed that our teenagers still want to spend this time with us.
I joined HRM in the spring of 2021. It was FOMO mostly. Many of my colleagues joined that spring and I didnât want to be left out. Little did I know, how it would change my life in so many ways. After 8 journeys, Iâm still here and canât imagine my life without HRM.
I have so much advice but Iâll just say these 3 things.
*Take those swelfies and post on the page.
*Join a zoom workout

There are so many beautiful connections in this community. It really is the secret sauce!
Connection is the key that brings it all together. We all love celebrating each other. Letâs DO THIS!

Donna Schibli ~ Smithers, BC

I am honoured to be serving as an ambassador once again. This will be my 21st consecutive journey and it is the perfect place for me. This is such an amazing program with so much to offer all of us. I look forward to growing and learning from all of you as we do this journey together. A huge heartfelt welcome to everyone!
My name is Donna Schibli and I live in the small town of Smithers in northern BC. I came to Smithers 44 years ago with the plan to stay for max 5 years and then move along. However, plans change and here I still am.
I am 62 years old and retired from my career as a dental assistant. I am now the sole owner of a quilt and yarn shop as my business partner had a massive stroke 2 years ago and passed away. Taking care of my health was already a priority but if I ever doubted its importance her loss made it very clear to me why it is so necessary. I have a hubby of 38 years who is very supportive and will even say âdo you have your workout to do before we hit the hot tubâ? He fully understands how important it is to me. I also have 2 grown children, both married, one spunky 5 year old granddaughter and a 2 year old grandson whose character is starting to come alive!
I have so much to say about this program and will save that for my introductionâŠ..later.
I look forward to reading all of your introductions and learning more about each and everyone of you.
Letâs do this!

Evelyn Parker ~ Parksville, BC

Â
Hello and welcome HRM sisters!
My name is Evelyn and this will be my 9th consecutive HRM journey. I love this magical community so much I cannot imagine not having it in my life. The Spring Journey is extra magical, so I am so excited and completely honoured to serve as an HRM ambassador for the first time this spring.ÂÂI was born and raised on Vancouver Island and love where I live. I reside in Parksville, BC with my husband of 30 years and our senior fur-baby, a black lab named Zoey. We have two adult children (ages 29 and 32), who live in Australia and Courtenay, BC.ÂI work as a controller for a busy boat dealership and because I love numbers and bookkeeping so much, I also have a bookkeeping business. ÂWhen I am not behind a desk, I am burning off my excess energy riding my road bike or spin bike, running on trails and roads, hiking, paddle boarding and strength training with my fellow HRMs. Thanks to Healthy Role Models I now know firsthand, the benefits of strength training for health and longevity. Since joining this community I have become stronger physically and mentally. The community of like-minded women is a powerful force that inspires, challenges and motivates in a loving, magical way. I have experienced first-hand the incredible feeling of connecting with women who want to support you and see you grow and succeed. I cannot wait to play a more active role in these connections in an ambassador.ÂThe Healthy Role Models philosophy and formula for physical and mental success is fool proof. Feeling isolated and lonely? Reach out in the community. Someone will always be there to cheer you on, and help you pick yourself back up. Experiencing an injury or physical setback? That's okay! HRM embraces modifying for your individual needs while still progressing. It is a beautiful thing. Need some advice or education? Healthy Role Models has in-house experts that are pros in their respective fields. Also, your fellow Healthy Role Models are a wealth of knowledge and resources, eager to be of assistance.ÂIt is my absolute pleasure to be here and I cannot wait to cheer you on and watch you thrive and flourish in this community rich with support and love. I look forward to supporting you as we work towards our healthy lifestyle goals together!Âđ Evelyn

Jacqueline Bennett ~ Victoria, BC

Hello HRM beauties and welcome to the 2025 Spring Journey!!!Â
My name is Jacqueline Bennett (aka Jax) and I am beyond excited and very honoured to be one of your Ambassadorâs for this journey.
I am so looking forward to growing and thriving with you all during this journey and helping to make it one of our best yet! This will be my 20th journey with Healthy Role Models. Joining this incredible community was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I cannot imagine life without it. I have formed lifelong friendships here and it has truly changed me inside and out.Â
A little bit about me, I am married to a wonderful husband who was my teenage sweetheart and we have a 13 year old son James and a six year old dog Bella. I am an Emergency Dispatch Coordinator for Fortis BC (LOVE my job) and work full time. We live in Victoria BC and one of our favourite past times is boating on our 34â catamaran. During the summer months you will find us exploring the Gulf Islands as much as we can enjoying hiking, kayaking, swimming, and soaking in alllll the #outdoorphins we can!!
I joined HRM back in the Fall of 2015 when I was at my heaviest weight and not very happy in life. When I first heard about this group I honestly thought, âHow much could an on-line fitness group truly help me?â I was admittedly skeptical but shortly after joining I could see how special this group truly was. I discovered one of the main things missing for me beforeâŠConnection! This is one of the most unique things about HRM, connection. It is what brings the magic. So different from anything I had done and I have been hooked ever since. By being so connected to the group and learning all that I can, I feel more empowered and confident than I ever have before. HRM isnât just about exercise, it is SO much more. It is a journey of learning how to live a healthier life, a journey of mental wellness and learning to love yourself and every imperfect part of you!
I made a commitment to make my health a priority so that I would be a better person for myself and my family and I am excited and honoured to help you along your journey to achieve your health and wellness goals as I continue towards mine too!!
Jessie Mathie ~ Nanaimo, BC

Welcome! I am very excited to be returning for my 15th consecutive journey and second time ambassador! I am here to cheer you on and be a listening ear when times are challenging.
I live in Nanaimo, BC with my husband, 11yo daughter, 8yo son, and 3yo Boxer pup who keeps all of us on our toes!
A public servant by day and amateur hip hop dancer by night, you will find me trying creative and fun ways to move my body. As I enter my chauffeur era, hustling kids to and fro various activities, now is more important than ever to make sure I carve out time for me.
I started Spring 2018 as a fitness journey and I have kept returning for the community (and awesome program). This community is like no other. Each woman has their unique journey and no one will be pigeon holed into a certain aesthetic/idea of what is âHealthyâ.
Led by kindness and encouragement, HRM provides the flexibility to customize the program to your needs. I am thrilled you have said âYesâ to an epic Spring 2025!
Katie Hillier ~ Beaumont, AB

Hello and welcome to the Spring 2025 journey!
I have been a part of the HRM community since the spring of 2017 â I was looking for a way to be consistent with my health after having my kids when I noticed a friend of mine was eating better and looking healthy. She recommended HRM, and I havenât looked back since!Â
I am a high school science teacher and my husband and I have two girls who are 11 and 13. I love that for most of their lives theyâve known me as someone who works out! What an amazing thing to be able to model for them.Â
HRM has given me the support that I need to stay moving, and the confidence to try new things. When you can see other women like you doing cool activities, it tells your brain that you can probably do those things too. Since joining HRM, I have hiked to the top of several mountains, paddle boarded in the ocean, and regularly do fun things with my family like aerial parks! I can also do not-as-cool things (like help move heavy boxes) way more easily than I could before. Truly training for life!Â
I love the accountability that this community provides, and I hope that you reach out if you ever have questions or need encouragement. Looking forward to crushing it with you!
Leanne Gavaghan ~ Nanaimo, BC

Hello and welcome to the Spring 2025 Journey!
My name is Leanne and I was born and raised on beautiful Vancouver Island where I live with my Husband and two dogs. This will be my 13th consecutive journey and I am so excited to be a returning HRM Ambassador! I love spring for bringing us longer, brighter days, and more excuses for getting outdoors!
I initially joined Healthy Role Models for the health and fitness aspect but soon discovered, this was much more than just an amazing workout program. This community has had an immensely positive impact on my life. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to meet and connect with so many like minded individuals both on the community page and in person. They have helped encourage and inspire me to create so many healthy habits which have changed my mindset entirely.Â
I have always been active through various sports growing up and absolutely love being outdoors. My happiest place is on the water (likely on my paddleboard) or in the trees walking or hiking. I have an adventurous spirit and love to challenge myself by stepping outside of my comfort zone as that is often where the magic happens! Most recently this involves running/walking in the annual TC10K, learning beginner ballet and getting back into field hockey!Â
Whether you are a brand new or returning to HRM, I encourage you to reach out and keep making connections, they are so valuable and inspiring! If you are looking for something to inspire you to gain strength, learn to better fuel your body, connect with like minded individuals and focus on personal growth, you are in the right place. I can't wait to complete this journey alongside you!!
Lesley Nichol ~ MacGregor, MB

Welcome to this incredible community of chosen sisters!
This is my 3rd time as an Ambassador and it is truly my honour to have been selected.Â
My name is Lesley and I live in a small rural community called MacGregor, Manitoba. This is my 11th consecutive journey with HRM and without sounding dramatic, this community has changed my life!Â
I am a mother to three amazing adult children (Tyler, Connor and Emily) and I have been married for 30 years to a super supportive husband (Marc). My greatest title is when I get called âGrandmaâ from my almost 5-year-old granddaughter (Brae) and my 6-month-old granddaughter, Emmy. My family is my âwhyâ.
I am forever indebted to my sister (Tracey Kleysen) for introducing me to HRM. That first journey I witnessed firsthand the impact and magic of this community. My mindset completely changed to feeling isolated and alone in creating new and improved healthier habits to embracing everyoneâs advice and support in guiding me to a better place both physically and emotionally.
I have learned to make my health a priority, how to reshape negative thoughts and habits into positive ones and how to realistically set goals for myself. I have learned so much from this community including that I genuinely love the woman I am. I never realized the gift I would get from such a supportive team, cheering me on and inspiring me to be the best version of myself.
I canât wait to support your journey as an ambassador. We will share our joys and our challenges but most importantly we will support each other through all of them.Â
Let pride be your metric! The fact that you signed up with HRM is already a huge win!
I am super pumped you are here! You have found the perfect place to land! This community is like no other! Letâs goâŠâŠ
Lesley
Lori Ash ~ Gilbert Plains, MB

Welcome everyone to this wonderful community of like-minded individuals - Healthy Role Models! This is one of the main reasons I joined. Being surrounded by people who are here for the same reasons as you is so powerful. You are not alone on your journey of health and well- being! So congrats for taking this step!
My name is Lori Ash and this is my 12 th HRM journey and first time ambassador. I am 53 years old, married for 28 years to my hubby, and mother to my girls who are 25 and 27 years old. I have my Masterâs degree in Education with a focus on guidance and counselling. I âretiredâ from my permanent position as a middle school teacher and guidance counsellor for K-12 in my small town, Gilbert Plains, Manitoba. However, I have been taking term positions, and presently have a 0.25 guidance position in the K-8 school.Â
I have been active my whole life which include gymnastics, swimming, National Lifeguard, and an aerobics instructor. Today, I enjoy running, walking, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, strength training, yoga, snowshoeing in the winter, fishing with my hubby, and just being outside in nature.Â
Healthy Role Models is really a lifestyle. The workouts suit everyone and can easily be worked into any schedule. You will develop strength, resilience, persistence, self- confidence, and a sense of power by taking control of your health. This program is well-rounded and includes HIIT workouts, nutrition support, and yoga. There is also so much help available to you. So all I can say is lean into this community. If you are struggling, reach out. Someone will have gone through or is going through the same bumps along the way and can give you the support you need. Also, trust the process. Follow the guidelines and you will see changes, physically and mentally. Weâve got you!
I am looking forward to seeing you post on the page and cheering for you along the way. Post the selfie, join Zoom events, join in-person events, and just love how your body and mind feels. Movement is medicine and HRM is just that! Â
Michelle Drake ~ Courtenay, BC

Hello Healthy Role Models! I am excited to be gearing up for my 4th journey and beyond grateful to join the ambassador team for my first time. Born and raised in Campbell River on Vancouver Island, I havenât strayed too far and now call Courtenay my home. There is nothing I love more than exploring all the wonderful things the Island has to offer with my husband, a sea captain, my two daughters (aged 7 & almost 4), and our Boston/Frenchie senior pup Winifred.
I am an elementary French Immersion teacher in the Valley and love that I get to go to work with my kiddo every day. I have many colleagues who are a part of the fabulous HRM community. More and more seem to be joining us - maybe it has something to do with how often we are raving about HRM, comparing notes on workouts, or flexing our muscles!
Healthy Role Models found me two years ago when I was struggling to find balance in my life. I was finding it challenging to return to a fitness routine after having children. My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in Kindergarten and I went from teacher and camp wife, to full on care support for my daughter overnight. Who knew how hard our pancreas works around the clock?! I was feeling isolated and exhausted. I was yearning for some sort of community and knew I needed to find a way to fill my own bucket in order to continue to show up for my family in all the new ways they needed me to (on top of all the ways I had been already). When a colleague and friend mentioned HRM, I jumped on it and never looked back! I had never experienced such an inspiring, positive and supportive community. Life had been feeling full - too full to work out, too full to prioritize myself. Once I embraced the HRM training for life mindset, I realized that my life could feel fulfilled. I reached level 40 in life this year and feel stronger than ever - in body AND mind.
I challenge you to join me, to dive in. Do the workouts, make the space for you, take part in the community. Iâll be watching for you!
Michelle xo
Paula Flemming ~ Port Alberni, BC

Iâm Pk, Paula,  this will be my 20th consecutive journey!   I found Healthy Role Models when I was looking for a community that would support me in finding a healthy balanced lifestyle. I was drawn to the community for the focus on women supporting women.
Iâm a grade 1 Education Assistant in a beautiful first nations school. My  husband Kevin has embraced the lifestyle alongside me. I love that he will workout with me and is willing to try new recipes. HRM has become our LIFESTYLE.
I have gained confidence that has taken me to new heights. The women in the community inspire and motivate me to try new challenges. Because of HRM I have climbed mountains, rode a bike through Italy, run 10k in less than an hour, strong and healthy at 50. But most importantly to me I have a community with incredible friends.
I am honoured to be a part of your journey and look forward to being here right alongside you.Â
Rebecca Coley Hutchison ~ Courtenay, BC

Hi! I'm Rebecca! This is Journey #13 for me and my fourth time as an ambassador. I joined this amazing community in the Spring of 2018 after having my second baby to get some workouts that I could do at home and had no idea what was to come. This place is so much more than workouts, it's community, connection, inspiration, and accountability. I love to cheer people on and I look forward to cheering for YOU! I love it here!
I am a wife, a mum, a dog lover, a primary teacher, and a lover of the outdoors. I love running in the trails, dog walking, mountain biking, camping, and skiing, and living in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island provides plenty of opportunities! My husband and I have two little girls (6 & 8) and two dogs. Role modeling a healthy lifestyle for them and being strong and able to keep up to them is what brought me here, but it's that feeling of strength in all areas of my life that keeps ME at the centre of my why. Life is busy and loud and full of all the things, but putting my health first helps me to show up as my best self. I love the feeling of being strong and it's because of this community that I am the most fit in my life... at 40!
You'll find me working out in the early mornings before the house gets moving for the day to make sure I get that time for me. I'm not a morning person, but morning workouts have become my jam. That feeling of pride sticks with you all day. You'll never regret it! Over the years a couple of lines from this program have really stuck with me: "Challenge equals change" when it's hard, it hurts, and you don't want to - dig deep and you'll be so glad you did. "Let pride be your metric" celebrate your wins, big or small!Â
I'm stoked you're here and can't wait to cheer you on. This place is truly magic!Â
xo Rebecca
Shai-Lynn Lee ~ Nanaimo, BC

Hello and welcome to all you beautiful, fabulous and amazing HRMs!!! My name is Shai-Lynn but you can call me Shai (SHY, like I am shy but Iâm not really) I am so excited and honoured to have been chosen as an ambassador for the Spring 2025. Journey! I cannot wait to support, encourage and cheer all of you on!!
A little bit about myselfâŠ
I am 37 years young
This is my 9th consecutive journey and 7th as an ambassador.Â
I am a Mama of an almost 8 year old daughter who has the biggest personality and is my partner in crime she is also the best big sister to my littlest ripple who is 2 and a half years old his name is Austin who is just the sweetest and loves to workout alongside me! You will see them in my swelfies.
I am Part of the #earlybirds #zoomcrew
And I am engaged to my best friend and have been together for 16 years
I have been an Early Childhood Educator for 17 years and LOVE being able to support children and their families in every aspect of their life.
I was born and raised on Vancouver Island originally from Victoria BC but currently reside in Nanaimo BC! #southislecrew
My family loves to go camping, go on nature walks, puddle jumping and visiting family in Victoria.
What brought me to HRM? I had seen the posts and people I have known talking about the program but I never thought it was for me. I had really let myself go and stopped loving myself and I was not making myself a priority. I was not happy. In Spring 2021, my step mom Leanne gifted me the Spring 2021 journey and that was the most amazing gift she could have ever given me and I am so thankful! I then decided to take the plunge and take my life back into my hands not only for ME but for my daughter and fiancé and now my son. This community brought me joy, a sense of belonging and gave me my confidence back. Over the last 3 years my daughter and I have had a lot of loss and have lost some very important people and family pets. The biggest being my grandparents and my daughter's best friend( Grampy). The HRM community was there and supported us through these losses and I am ever so grateful. I never felt judged and have been able to connect with so many ladies through this program which I have always found hard to do outside of HRM. HRM is a safe place and I am proud to be part of the HRM family! I love this life I am creating and love the impact I am making for myself, my family and the community.
This journey my focus will be staying active and getting my movement whenever I can as I navigate and modify after recovery from injuries last journey and health aspects Iâm getting under control , eating the rainbow and being PROUD of all that my body allows me to do! Because we deserve to be proud of ourselves we are important and we are worth it!Â
