HRM AMBASSADORS
Powerful Team of Support & Guidance
Angie Boyko ~ Fort Saskatchewan, AB
Angie Boyko ~ Fort Saskatchewan, ABMy journey with the HRM community began 12 journeys ago, and for the past six consecutive years it has been a meaningful part of my life. What started as personal growth has evolved into deep connection, purpose, and belonging. Serving as an HRM Ambassador is a role I hold close to my heart. I truly love supporting others, celebrating their progress, and helping create a space where people feel seen, encouraged, and inspired to become the best version of themselves.
For over 25 years, I have worked as a Massage Therapist, a profession that perfectly reflects who I am. Helping people reconnect with their bodies, find relief, and experience healing has been both my career and my calling. I believe wellness goes far beyond the physical — it is about balance, self-awareness, compassion, and growth.
I live in Fort Saskatchewan with my family, who continue to be my greatest supporters, grounding force and inspiration. In my down time you will find me hanging with them, hitting our beautiful river valley trails or complimenting my strength training with some hot yoga creating my own balance.
Through both my professional work and my involvement in HRM, I am passionate about lifelong learning, personal transformation, and lifting others up along the way.
As I continue this journey, I look forward to embracing growth, welcoming change, and inspiring others — while remaining open to being inspired myself. I believe that when we grow together, support one another, and lead with heart, incredible transformation becomes possible 🦋
Becca Nicholson ~ Kimberley, BC
Becca Nicholson ~ Kimberley, BCHello and welcome to the HRM Spring 2026 journey!
My name is Becca and I live in Kimberley, BC. This is my 11th journey with HRM and second time as an ambassador.
I was introduced to HRM from one of my best friends and love the flexibility it offers. As a Public Health Nurse, wife, and mom of 3 kids and 2 dogs, life is busy. HRM has given me a way to stay active on my own time with an amazing support group of inspiring women. I like that I can fit the exercises in whenever I have spare time and that there is always someone there to support me when I am feeling unmotivated. Over the years my kids have watched me stay active and this has had an amazing ripple effect on them. They often join me in my workouts and have started their own healthy habits.
My advice to you this journey would be to stay involved in the group. It is so much easier to be successful with support. We are not meant to do everything alone.
I am so excited to be an ambassador this journey. Please reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or just need additional support. Let’s do this together!

Brennan MacDonald ~ Ladysmith, BC
Brennan MacDonald ~ Ladysmith, BC Hello lovelies! Welcome to the HRM 2026 Spring Journey! 🩵
My name is Brennan, and we are heading into my favourite time of year- SPRING! A time of renewal, new growth and budding potential! This is my 12th HRM Journey and I am so excited to join you as a first-time Ambassador!
I am a member of Cowichan Tribes and live with my family on the unceded and traditional territory of the Stz’uminus people here in Ladysmith on Vancouver Island. Our family includes my husband Jason, our daughter Tiana (17), our son Gavin (16) my mama Judith and our dog Rosie. We are an active family doing allll the things, and really enjoy our time together.
I am so thankful that a friend encouraged me to join HRM because this community has genuinely changed my life!
When I signed up for my first journey, I remember thinking about how I really wanted change. I wanted to be fit, healthy, strong and happy!
And what I have learned is that change doesn’t happen overnight. But, when you show up everyday, and put in the work, progress really does happen!
Last autumn I received the HRM Consistency Award ⭐️ which was such an unexpected honour! HRM taught me that showing up for myself each day is not selfish. It is what we do so we can bring our best forward each day. And, consistency is our biggest flex!
You will find me getting my workouts done in the morning - and I love joining the early morning zoom crew! I usually follow my workout with some meditation to set my daily intentions and I listen to an inspiring podcast while I get ready for work. This daily routine gives me such a strong start to my day!
What I know for sure is, if I can do this- YOU can do this, and I will be right there alongside you! We are all on this journey together and yet we each have our own experience of it. I have learned so much and have so much more to learn! There are some pretty inspiring ladies in this community, and I am so thankful for the helpful tips and encouragement that is shared so freely.
We are all here because our wellness matters and this includes making ourselves a priority. HRM can enable us to breathe life into this commitment and I am so happy to join you as we launch into the 2026 Spring Journey!
Let’s do this!!
Christine McBride ~ Winnipeg, MB
Christine McBride ~ Winnipeg, MB Welcome here and welcome back to each and every one of you beautiful, strong individuals who find yourselves here. Making yourself and your health a priority is a big step and I see you here for it!
This will be my 15th journey and 9th as an ambassador and I can’t imagine myself anywhere else. I love this community so much and cherish the friendships, knowledge, and inspiration I receive each journey (and in between!).
I am a proud member of the #mbcrew and call Winnipeg home. I'm 47, married to Andy for 20 years, mom to Sam (19) and Grace (11), and we round out the household with the fur babies, Rico, Skelly, and Luna. We’ve also started fostering cats and currently have 3 fosters, Panda, Goblin, and Monkey. We have a full crew! 😅 I work at a large aerospace company here in the city as a Quality Inspector. Do you need your helicopter engine modules certified? I’m your gal! 🙌😉
I came to HRM through a good friend and I have never looked back! This community is positive and supportive in a way like no other. It is more than just an “exercise program”. Inspiration, support, personal growth, yoga, breathing, videos for proper form, events, and fun, to name a few! Friendships too, because I can’t forget those! I have met so many women that I never would have met otherwise, in person and virtually. Some on the other side of the country and some on the other side of the world! We are brought together with a desire to do something for us, to put ourselves at the top of that to-do list, to grow and change and challenge ourselves. It is truly inspiring.
Whether this is your first journey or you’re a seasoned veteran I encourage you to make this journey your own. If you need to focus on one thing, do that. Is there something new you want to try but it’s out of your comfort zone? Share that, lean on us, we will support you like nobody’s business! Need some accountability for late night snacking, becoming an early bird, that first Zoom workout, upping those weights? We’ve got you! Reach out. Did you read a post and were inspired? Tell that goddess because that’s how we make those all important connections that are what we call the “secret sauce”. I know it’s scary to do but it feels so good to give and receive support!
I always end with a promise to keep it real every journey and this one is no exception. You will see me as I am, the ups and the downs, the challenges, the fist pumping moments and everything in between.
You are worth being here.
Let’s get this party started!
Colleen Deckert ~ Winnipeg, MB
Colleen Deckert ~ Winnipeg, MB Welcome to HRM and this community!
Spring 2026 marks my 15th journey and 4th as an ambassador. I have loved the lifestyle and friendships that I’ve developed during HRM and look forward to meeting more like-minded, positive people who will inspire me.
I look forward to our in-person connections and am so proud of the #mbcrew.
I spent 25+ years in the events industry and after a two-year retirement, I’m back on a contract so navigating work, family/home and my commitment to my fitness journey – which is non-negotiable!
A little about me…born and raised in Manitoba, I am a prairie girl living in Winnipeg and turned 64 this summer. I’ve been married for over 42 years; we have four grown children and seven grandbabies. I love dogs, nature, gardening and believe in family and long-time treasured friendships.
I have a deep desire to share inspiration and provide insight wherever I can. I am committed to sharing in your wins and lifting you up when you need encouragement - I understand this as I’ve been there too.
As we prepare for this Spring journey, I’m excited to take this journey with you all. We are all here to support you!
Crystal Bieber ~ Nanaimo, BC
Crystal Bieber ~ Nanaimo, BC Welcome to the 2026 Spring Journey!
This will be my 17th journey but FIRST as an ambassador and I couldn’t be more honoured to do this alongside all of you.
I’m 45 years old and married with 2 kids. I work as a registered pharmacy technician at our local hospital and Cancer Clinic plus I moonlight as an instructor at the Vancouver Island University. I’m also a competitive dancer in hip hop and lyrical/contemporary while also parenting a little competitive dancer. All this to say that life has never been busier but this program was built to fit realistically in these busy lives we all live. I didn’t think there could be such thing as a fitness program that felt empowering instead of defeating but HRM is exactly that!
I joined at a time in my life where I was so exhausted and overwhelmed, so uncomfortable in my postpartum body and just generally dissatisfied. I needed a change and I needed someone to tell me EXACTLY what to do. Life’s too busy to waste time playing guessing games! So after many years of hearing about HRM and knowing people who had participated, I reluctantly but filled with hope, took the leap.
Yes, I got that physical change I was hoping for but more importantly, I made some of my most meaningful friendships and started intentionally building this beautiful life that I get to enjoy as the healthiest version of myself. All because of the level of support, positivity and inspiration you find in this community. I came for the workouts but stayed for the amazing people I was suddenly surrounded by. If you’re returning, you already know what I’m talking about and if you’re new here, I can’t wait for you to experience it! Also, I never thought I would say this…. But I was having FUN getting in shape *gasp!*
So after being relentlessly cheered on from being a newbie, trying new scary things like dancing on stage and starting from square one after an unexpected spinal surgery, I’m super pumped to be an official part of the team and being YOUR biggest supporter!
Danielle McCune ~ Campbell River, BC

I was honoured with being chosen as a Finalist on the 2025 Spring Journey and I contribute that to staying fully engaged in this amazing community!!
In the past year my consistency game has really levelled up! I started HIIT workouts & plyometrics for the first time and am actually enjoying them! I also now know I'm a woman who follows through & can do hard things!!
With HRM I've realized consistent healthy habits come from chasing the feeling and not focusing on the number on the scale! I'm here to feel strong both physically and mentally!
I'm currently working on earning my 1st unassisted pull up so watch for me to rise up!! I'm also training towards running a 10km in an hour! What are your goals?
I've seen amazing improvement on my body image, anxiety and self-esteem with the support of HRM! I'm always reinforcing loving myself & appreciating what my body CAN do!!! I believe daily positive affirmations & always speaking kindly to yourself go a long way!! You are worthy now, just as you are!
Spring 2026 Let's Go!
By showing up for yourself along with support from your fellow HRMs I truly believe we can all accomplish the extraordinary life we deserve!

Denise Levorson ~ Cabri, SK
Denise Levorson ~ Cabri, SK HELLO and WELCOME to all the new and returning HRM’s! Yes you definitely are in the right place! This is the Spring Journey 2026 and it’s going to be AMAZING!
I am so excited and incredibly honoured to be an Ambassador within this community of liked minded women who put their health and well being as a priority while supporting each other along the way!
My name is Denise, this will be Journey #18 for me and my 5th time in the role of ambassador. My journeys throughout the years have all
been different due to a variety of factors and all in a good way. Lots of learning, self development, making the workouts more “personalized” with modifications but the most successful journeys I have are because of the connections of this HRM community! It is the “SECRET SAUCE.”
I am a young 60 year old, retired
from Healthcare who lives on a farm in Southwest Saskatchewan, married to an incredible guy for almost 36 years and been with him for 42 years who is still farming. I have 2 adult kids along with their spouses and 2 beautiful grandkids who make my life more full and rewarding. My FAMILY is my “why!” To keep up with the growing family I need to keep active, strong and be a good all round HEALTHY ROLE MODEL!!!
HRM is more than a fitness program for me, I have learned to make my health a priority, set goals and boundaries, be proud of my accomplishments, create positive energy, and a mindset. This is a lifestyle!
The information and support you will receive is incredible and you are not alone! There is valuable information on nutrition and physio support it truly is the best program you will find.
The biggest take away is to BELIEVE in yourself that you can accomplish anything that you set your heart and mind too. Stay engaged on the page, reach out to others, join the in person events , the virtual ZOOM events and you will gain new friendships and camaraderie with others who share in the same interests as you!
Diane Antoniuk ~ Bonnyville, AB
Diane Antoniuk ~ Bonnyville, AB Welcome to Spring Journey 2026! I look forward to cheering you all on and celebrating your wins with you. When I first joined HRM, I never would have imagined I would become a part of the Ambassador team. I am so honoured to be joining this journey as an Ambassador for the 4th time! How incredible is that?
I joined HRM in the spring of 2021. It was FOMO mostly. Many of my colleagues joined that spring and I didn’t want to be left out. Little did I know, how it would change my life in so many ways. After 10 journeys, I’m still here and can’t imagine my life without HRM. With some recent health scares for myself and my husband, I know that being a part of this community has had a huge impact on how I was able to navigate those trying times. The support from this community is like no other I have ever experienced.
Here’s just a little bit about me. I was raised on a farm but never imagined I would marry a farmer. Well… my farmer husband and I have been married for 27 years. Our 20-year-old daughter is in her 2nd year of University, and our 18-year-old son will be graduating high school in June. As a family, we love to ski, snowmobile, water ski, and scuba dive. We feel very blessed that our teenagers still want to spend this time with us. I have been an RN for over 30 years, with about 29 years as a Public Health Nurse working in the rural community of Bonnyville Alberta. I join level 55 in May and look forward to my retirement shortly after.
I have so much advice but I’ll just say these 3 things.
*Take those swelfies and post on the page. If we can’t see you, we can’t support you.
*Join a zoom workout. It’s a great way to make some connections.
*Comment on posts. Become a part of this amazing supportive community.
There are so many beautiful connections in this community. It really is the secret sauce! Connection is the key that brings it all together.
We all love celebrating each other. Let’s DO THIS!
Evelyn Parker ~ Parksville, BC
Evelyn Parker ~ Parksville, BCHello and welcome HRM sisters!
My name is Evelyn and this will be my 11th consecutive HRM journey. I love this incredible community so much I cannot imagine not having it in my life. The Spring Journey is magical, so I am so excited and completely honoured to serve as an HRM ambassador for the third time this Spring.
I was born and raised on Vancouver Island and love where I live. I reside in Parksville, BC with my husband of 30 years. We have two adult children (ages 30 and 33), who live in Australia and Courtenay, BC.
I work as a controller for a busy boat dealership and because I love numbers and bookkeeping so much, I also have a bookkeeping business.
When I am not behind a desk, I am burning off my excess energy riding my road bike or spin bike, running on trails and roads, hiking, paddle boarding and strength training with my fellow HRMs. Thanks to Healthy Role Models I now know firsthand, the benefits of strength training for health and longevity. Since joining this community I have become stronger physically and mentally. The community of like-minded women is a powerful force that inspires, challenges and motivates in a loving, magical way. I have experienced first-hand the incredible feeling of connecting with women who want to support you and see you grow and succeed. I cannot wait to play a more active role in these connections in an ambassador.
The Healthy Role Models philosophy and formula for physical and mental success is fool proof. Feeling isolated and lonely? Reach out in the community. Someone will always be there to cheer you on, and help you pick yourself back up. Experiencing an injury or physical setback? That's okay! HRM embraces modifying for your individual needs while still progressing. It is a beautiful thing. Need some advice or education? Healthy Role Models has in-house experts that are pros in their respective fields. Also, your fellow Healthy Role Models are a wealth of knowledge and resources, eager to be of assistance.
It is my absolute pleasure to be here and I cannot wait to cheer you on and watch you thrive and flourish in this community rich with support and love. I look forward to supporting you as we work towards our healthy lifestyle goals together!
💖 Evelyn

Jacqueline Bennett ~ Victoria, BC
Jacqueline Bennett ~ Victoria, BC Hello HRM beauties and welcome to the 2026 Spring Journey!
My name is Jacqueline Bennett (aka Jax) and I am beyond excited and very honoured to be one of your Ambassador’s for this journey. I am so looking forward to growing and thriving with you all during this journey and helping to make it one of our best yet! This will be my 22nd journey with Healthy Role Models. Joining this incredible community was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I cannot imagine life without it. I have formed lifelong friendships here and it has truly changed me inside and out.
A little bit about me, I am married to a wonderful husband who was my teenage sweetheart and we have a 14 year old son James and a six year old dog Bella. I am an Emergency Dispatch Coordinator for Fortis BC (LOVE my job) and work full time. We live in Victoria BC and one of our favourite past times is boating on our 34’ catamaran. During the summer months you will find us exploring the Gulf Islands as much as we can enjoying hiking, kayaking, swimming, and soaking in alllll the #outdoorphins!!!
I joined HRM back in the Fall of 2015 when I was at my heaviest weight and at a pretty low point in my life. When I first heard about this group I honestly thought, “How much could an on-line fitness group truly help me?” I was admittedly skeptical but shortly after joining I could see how special this group truly was. I discovered one of the main things that was missing for me before…Connection! This is one of the most unique things about HRM, connection. It is what brings the magic. Honestly. So different from anything I had done and I have been hooked ever since. By being so connected to the group and learning all that I can, I feel more empowered and confident than I ever have. Choosing to challenge my comfort zone in all aspects of life like I have never, ever done before. HRM isn’t just about exercise, it is SO much more. It is a journey of learning how to live a healthier life, a journey of mental wellness and learning to love yourself and every imperfect part of you!
I made a commitment to make my health a priority so that I would be a better person for myself and my family and I am excited and honoured to help you along your journey to achieve your health and wellness goals as I continue towards mine too!
Karina McLaughlin ~ Comox Valley, BC
Karina McLaughlin ~ Comox Valley, BC Hello Healthy Role Models!
Welcome to a truly magical place.
My name is Karina McLaughlin and I am honoured to be joining you this Spring Journey as an ambassador! This will be my sixth journey with Healthy Role Models.
I am privileged to live in the Comox Valley. I am a teacher at a school that has many Healthy Role Models. It's amazing to be surrounded by women who inspire and uplift one another. I am a mother to my two wonderful children who are 8 and 2. My husband is my biggest supporter and cheerleader who grounds me. You'll see me getting my workouts done surrounded by my children, their toys, and in general life chaos. I'm in the thick of it making it happen!
I joined Healthy Role Models when my son was 8 weeks old. I am proud that my children are growing up with a mother who takes care of herself. (This wasn't always my story.)
With the support and confidence of this community I can proudly say, I am an athlete! I run, I bike, I swim, and I lift heavy. I work hard and I play even harder. I recover and spend time in nature with my family. Consistency is the real flex here. If I can offer any advice, I'd say work on being consistent. You don't need to do anything perfect, just keep showing up for yourself! Show up for yourself, and share your wins with us!
I can't wait to cheer you all on!
Kim Bresky ~ Brandon, MB
Kim Bresky ~ Brandon, MB Welcome to the best community you will ever be a part of!
My name is Kim and I am part of the kick butt #mbcrew. My HRM adventure started in April of 2018 when I joined my sister and friends to Victoria for TC10K. I didn’t know what to think of HRM, but being an introvert (and skeptic), I knew it wasn’t for me. I sat on the sidelines watching the runners and managed to sneak a spot beside Sarah and a few others. They cried, they cheered, they knew everyone’s name and their story. Who are these people? Why are they being so positive and encouraging? I joined HRM that Fall when my sister suggested I join. So like the good little sister I am, I joined. I left briefly due to building a house and starting school. I rejoined Fall 2020 and haven’t left.
I live on a small acreage outside of Brandon, MB with my husband, 2 kids, cats, a dog and chickens. Any animal that finds its way onto my land, I’m going to try to convince my husband to let us keep it. My version of self care is baking, making sour dough, canning or cleaning.
I am a Registered Nurse working in our local Correctional Centre. I love my job and love being in healthcare. Since becoming a mom, health has been a major focus in our household. They say nurses make the worst patients, so my goal is to never be one!
Welcome to Spring 2026 Journey! Make yourself a priority and embrace the process!
Kristi Hurst-Burnett ~ Calgary, AB
Kristi Hurst-Burnett ~ Calgary, AB Hello to the new and returning HRMs to the Spring 2026 journey!
A little about me, my name is Kristi and this is my tenth season with HRM, my 16th journey and the first time being an Ambassador! To say I am excited is an understatement!
I am married to my best friend Evan and live in Calgary. We've been in Alberta since 2018 and love the life we've built here. We both are from BC and try to get out to visit family and friends as much as we can. We are the proud animal parents of our beautiful golden mix Asia and sassy cat Georgie. I work for RBC in the Financial Planning department and LOVE my job! I get to work from home which is such a blessing. Both hubby and I plan on working 5 more years and retirement here we come!
Travel is our passion. We try to take two trips a year and make them as memorable and fun as possible! Next big one is in 2027 where we will be cruising the Mediterranean. Our plan after retirement is to rent out our place for a year and live in Europe! We're saving hard and counting down the days ;)
What does HRM mean to me? I came into the community at a time in my life when I was sedentary and needing a kick in the butt! My sister-in-law Sarah convinced me to join and I am so glad I did! I'll admit I was SO nervous the first journey and felt like a fish out of water. I began to realize quickly that the support and encouragement in the community was so genuine and real. I thrived for the first couple of years and then a health event in 2019 sidelined me for some time. But I came back in 2021 and it was like I never left! The workouts, the friendships made and this community are incredible and I know I will be a HRM for life!
Jump in with both feet, it may feel overwhelming at first but once you realize that you are surrounded by support, love and a community of like-minded women it will start to feel like home. Ask the questions, connect with others, join a Zoom workout or an"in-person" event. I promise you won't regret it!
Welcome ladies, let's do this!
Lesley Nichol ~ MacGregor, MB
Lesley Nichol ~ MacGregor, MB Welcome to this incredible community of chosen sisters!
This is my 5th time as an Ambassador and it is truly my honour to have been selected.
My name is Lesley and I live in a small rural community called MacGregor, Manitoba. This is my 13th consecutive journey with HRM and without sounding dramatic, this community has changed my life!
I am a mother to three amazing adult children (Tyler, Connor and Emily) and I have been married for 32 years to a super supportive husband (Marc). My greatest title is when I get called “Grandma” from my almost 6-year-old granddaughter (Brae) and my 2-year-old granddaughter, Emmy. My family is my “why”.
I am forever indebted to my sister (Tracey Kleysen) for introducing me to HRM. That first journey I witnessed firsthand the impact and magic of this community. My mindset completely changed to feeling isolated and alone in creating new and improved healthier habits to embracing everyone’s advice and support in guiding me to a better place both physically and emotionally.
I have learned to make my health a priority, how to reshape negative thoughts and habits into positive ones and how to realistically set goals for myself. I have learned so much from this community including that I genuinely love the woman I am. I never realized the gift I would get from such a supportive team, cheering me on and inspiring me to be the best version of myself.
I can’t wait to support your journey as an ambassador. We will share our joys and our challenges but most importantly we will support each other through all of them.
Let pride be your metric! The fact that you signed up with HRM is already a huge win!
I am super pumped you are here! You have found the perfect place to land! This community is like no other! Let’s go……
Lesley
Michelle Drake ~ Courtenay, BC
Michelle Drake ~ Courtenay, BC Hello Healthy Role Models!
I’m so excited to be gearing up for my sixth journey and incredibly grateful to be joining the ambassador team for the third time. Born and raised in Campbell River on beautiful Vancouver Island, I haven’t ventured too far—I now proudly call Courtenay home. Nothing fills my cup more than exploring everything the Island has to offer with my husband (a sea captain), our two daughters (ages 8 and almost 5), and our new puppy, Tilly.
I’m an elementary French Immersion teacher in the Comox Valley, and I love that I get to head to work each day alongside my kiddo. I’m fortunate to work with many colleagues who are also part of the incredible HRM community—and the circle just keeps growing because this community truly is inspiring.
Healthy Role Models found me in 2023 during a season when I was struggling to find balance. Returning to fitness after having children felt overwhelming, and just a few months earlier, my daughter had been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Overnight, I shifted from teacher and camp wife to full-time support in managing her care. Who knew just how hard our pancreas works around the clock? I was exhausted, isolated, and running on empty.
I knew something had to change. I needed community. I needed to fill my own bucket so I could continue showing up for my family in all the new ways they needed me—on top of all the ways I already had been. When a colleague and friend mentioned HRM, I jumped in and never looked back. I had never experienced such a positive, uplifting, and supportive community.
Life had felt full—too full to work out, too full to prioritize myself. But when I embraced the HRM “training for life” mindset, everything shifted. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, my life began to feel fulfilled. Now, I step into each new day feeling stronger than ever—both in body and in mind.
I challenge you to join me, to dive in. Do the workouts, make the space for you, take part in the community. I’ll be watching for you!
Michelle xo
Paula Flemming ~ Port Alberni, BC
Paula Flemming ~ Port Alberni, BC I’m Paula, PK, and this is my 22nd consecutive HRM journey.
I first found HRM when I was searching for something more. What I didn’t realize at the time was that I wasn’t just looking for a fitness program. I was looking for my community, a circle of women who would uplift me, challenge me, and support me in living a truly healthy lifestyle. What drew me in was the powerful focus on women supporting women. That energy changed everything for me.
I’m an education assistant at a beautiful First Nations school in the Alberni Valley. At home, my husband Kevin has embraced this healthy lifestyle right alongside me. I love that he joins me for workouts and fully supports my nutrition goals, growing together.
Because of HRM, my confidence has grown in ways I never imagined. The women in this community continually inspire me to stretch beyond my comfort zone and trying new challenges. Over the journeys I have climbed mountains, ridden a bike through Italy, can run a 10K in under an hour and continue to gain strength and be healthy well into my 50s
But the most meaningful gift of all is the friendships. The community of incredible women I now call friends.
I am truly honoured to be part of your journey, and I look forward to being right here alongside you every step of the way.
Rebecca Coley Hutchison ~ Courtenay, BC
Rebecca Coley Hutchison ~ Courtenay, BC Hi! I'm Rebecca! This is Journey #15 for me and my 6th time as an ambassador. I joined this amazing community in the Spring of 2018 after having my second baby to get some workouts that I could do at home and had no idea what was to come. This place is so much more than workouts, it's community, connection, inspiration, and accountability. I love to cheer people on and I look forward to cheering for YOU! I love it here!
I am a wife, a mum, a dog lover, a primary teacher, and a lover of the outdoors. I love running in the trails, dog walking, mountain biking, camping, and skiing, and living in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island provides plenty of opportunities! My husband and I have two little girls (7 & 9) and a dog. Role modeling a healthy lifestyle for them and being strong and able to keep up to them is what brought me here, but it's that feeling of strength in all areas of my life that keeps ME at the centre of my why. Life is busy and loud and full of all the things, but putting my health first helps me to show up as my best self. I love the feeling of being strong and it's because of this community that I am the most fit in my life... at 40!
You'll find me working out in the early mornings before the house gets moving for the day to make sure I get that time for me. I'm not a morning person, but morning workouts have become my jam. That feeling of pride sticks with you all day. You'll never regret it! Over the years a couple of lines from this program have really stuck with me: "Challenge equals change" when it's hard, it hurts, and you don't want to - dig deep and you'll be so glad you did. "Let pride be your metric" celebrate your wins, big or small!
I'm stoked you're here and can't wait to cheer you on. This place is truly magic!

Sarah Bishop ~ Nanaimo, BC Hello everyone! My name is Sara and I am beyond excited to begin the 2026 Spring Journey and take on the role of ambassador for the first time! Whether this is your first journey or you've completed many, I look forward to cheering you on this spring!
I was first introduced to HRM at a 10k run event in the Cowichan Valley years ago. Everywhere I looked there were women in colourful HRM tank tops, encouraging and cheering each other on. It was super inspiring and the contagious energy certainly grabbed my attention. I'd never seen anything like it! That spring, a co-worker asked if I wanted to join the Spring Journey and I instantly remembered that amazing spirit and decided to go for it. I haven't looked back and honestly I can't imagine not being a part of it. This spring will be my 14th journey! The 'family feel' in this community is remarkable. Staying connected to a community of like-minded, supportive women has been invaluable for keeping me motivated and inspired to continue my personal fitness journey. I love the program's flexibility and how it really is built for everyBODY. There is always so much to learn and so many ways to grow in each journey and we do it together! I'm all for cheering people on and celebrating wins! POST AND SHARE THOSE WINS! No matter how big or small, they matter and are worth celebrating!
A little about me - I was born and raised on the Island in the Courtenay area but Nanaimo has been home for 35 years. My husband and I have been married for 32 years; we've raised two fantastic kids (who live near by - yay for me!) and an old chocolate Lab who still keeps us on our toes. I work as a Dental Assistant in an orthodontic office but in my spare time I like to get outdoors and hike a trail or dig in the garden. I love getting crafty and have jumped on the sourdough-making train which is so satisfying.
Let's do some amazing things this spring! We are in the best place and we'll do it together!
Sara 😊
