HRM AMBASSADORS
Powerful Team of Support & Guidance
Andrea Kerr ~ Port McNeill, BC
Andrea Kerr ~ Port McNeill, BCHi, I’m Andrea! Mom to three boys, enthusiastic home cook, and lover of good food, good conversation, travelling and a little adventure!
A few fun facts about me: I spent years living in a small, remote Yukon community in a tiny cabin with no running water. I went back to school at 40 as a single mom and earned my master’s degree. I’ve spent much of my career in leadership, and now I also coach women after divorce, helping them rebuild their confidence, recognize their worth and remember their “why."
I joined HRM last fall looking for a healthier, stronger version of myself, and found so much more than a number on the scale. I’ve lost 50 pounds, become stronger and more confident, and feel better than I have in 20 yrs! And one of the things I value most is this community.
There’s something pretty special about women showing up for each other, celebrating the wins, encouraging each other through the hard days and reminding us what we’re capable of when we forget.
That’s a big part of why I’m so excited and honoured to be an Ambassador for the Autumn 2026 Journey.
I know what it feels like to stand at the beginning of something you really want and wonder if you can actually do it. I also know that underneath the doubt and fear, there can be a little voice saying, “Maybe I can.”
This Autumn, I’m excited to show up alongside you, have some fun, cheer you on, and hopefully help make that little “Maybe I can” voice a whole lot louder.
Let’s do this!
Angie Boyko ~ Fort Saskatchewan, AB
Angie Boyko ~ Fort Saskatchewan, AB✨ My Journey Continues… ✨
My journey with the HRM community began 13 journeys ago, and what started as one step outside my comfort zone has grown into a beautiful journey of connection, growth, change, and transformation. 💫
After now over six consecutive years as a member, I’m excited to step into another new journey and continue discovering what’s possible when we challenge ourselves, support one another, and keep saying YES to growth. 🌱✨
I’m incredibly proud to be an HRM Ambassador. 💛 I absolutely love this role and the opportunity it gives me to encourage, support, and inspire others — while being continually inspired by the amazing people around me.
💆♀️ Outside of HRM, I’ve been a Massage Therapist for over 25 years, and I can honestly say I still love what I do. Helping people feel better, reconnect with their bodies, and take time for themselves has been such a rewarding part of my life.
🏡 I live in Fort Saskatchewan with my family, who are a huge part of what keeps me grounded and inspired.
And when I’m not working or on an HRM journey, you’ll often find me… 🧘♀️ practicing yoga, 🚶♀️the beautiful trails in my community, 🪴 gardening, 📚 reading, and getting my hands messy with 🏺 pottery — one of my new favourite creative outlets!
🌿 I’m looking forward to this next journey with an open heart and an open mind — embracing the growth, welcoming the change, and continuing to inspire others to step into their own possibilities.
Because sometimes the greatest journeys begin when we simply decide to take the next step. ❤️✨
Becca Nicholson ~ Kimberley, BC
Becca Nicholson ~ Kimberley, BCHello and welcome to the HRM Autumn 2026 journey!
My name is Becca and I live in Kimberley, BC. This is my 12th journey with HRM and third time as an ambassador.
I was introduced to HRM from one of my best friends and love the flexibility it offers. As a Public Health Nurse, wife, and mom of 3 kids and 2 dogs, life is busy. HRM has given me a way to stay active on my own time with an amazing support group of inspiring women. I like that I can fit the exercises in whenever I have spare time and that there is always someone there to support me when I am feeling unmotivated. Over the years my kids have watched me stay active and this has had an amazing ripple effect on them. They often join me in my workouts and have started their own healthy habits.
My advice to you this journey would be to stay involved in the group. It is so much easier to be successful with support. We are not meant to do everything alone.
I am so excited to be an ambassador this journey. Please reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or just need additional support. Let’s do this together!

Christine McBride ~ Winnipeg, MB
Christine McBride ~ Winnipeg, MB Welcome here and welcome back to each and every one of you beautiful, strong individuals who find yourselves here. Making yourself and your health a priority is a big step and I see you here for it!
This will be my 16th journey and 10th as an ambassador and I can’t imagine myself anywhere else. I love this community so much and cherish the friendships, knowledge, and inspiration I receive each journey (and in between!).
I am a proud member of the #mbcrew and the #prairiecrew and call Winnipeg home. I'm 48, married to Andy for 21 years, mom to Sam (19) and Grace (11), and we round out the household with the fur babies, Skelly, Luna, Panda, and Goblin. We’ve also started fostering cats and currently have 2 moms and 5 kittens! We have a full crew! 😅 Recently we said goodbye to our 15 year old boy Rico and the grief is still heavy. 💔 The love of a pet is so strong and they truly become part of your family.
By day I work at a large aerospace company here in the city as a Quality Inspector. Do you need your helicopter engine modules certified? I’m your gal! 🙌😉 By night I drive to the dance studio for my girl…a lot! 😂 #dancemom
I came to HRM through a good friend and I have never looked back! This community is positive and supportive in a way like no other. It is more than just an “exercise program”. Inspiration, support, personal growth, yoga, breathing, videos for proper form, events, and fun, to name a few! Friendships too, because I can’t forget those! I have met so many women that I never would have met otherwise, in person and virtually. Some on the other side of the country and some on the other side of the world! We are brought together with a desire to do something for us, to put ourselves at the top of that to-do list, to grow and change and challenge ourselves. It is truly inspiring.
Whether this is your first journey or you’re a seasoned veteran I encourage you to make this journey your own. If you need to focus on one thing, do that. Is there something new you want to try but it’s out of your comfort zone? Share that, lean on us, we will support you like nobody’s business! Need some accountability for late night snacking, becoming an early bird, that first Zoom workout, upping those weights? We’ve got you! Reach out. Did you read a post and were inspired? Tell that goddess because that’s how we make those all important connections that are what we call the “secret sauce”. I know it’s scary to do but it feels so good to give and receive support!
I always end with a promise to keep it real every journey and this one is no exception. You will see me as I am, the ups and the downs, the challenges, the fist pumping moments and everything in between.
You are worth being here.
Let’s goooooo!
Carolyn Schier ~ Victoria, BC
Carolyn Schier ~ Victoria, BCI am so grateful to be an Ambassador for this strong, fabulous, and sweaty community.
I’m Carolyn, and this is my 12th journey with Healthy Role Models, “HRM” and my first journey as an Ambassador. HRM has become part of my lifestyle, and through this community I’ve met some of my closest friends. I live on Vancouver Island, Langford, with my hubby, two teenagers and my emotional support cats. I medically retired from Health Services in the Canadian Armed Forces and HRM is my safe place. HRM taught me to be kind to myself - slow down, take rest days and not push through pain. Now I’m here to remind you to be kind to yourself, show up and don’t give up when life gets hard. I’m stronger now than I was when finished boot camp decades ago which is slightly annoying to my younger self.
When my motivation is low, this community reminds me that something is always better than nothing. Dedication over motivation, and consistency is key. Motivation is lovely when it shows up—but sometimes it’s clearly running late, so we get on with it without her.
For those joining for the first time: Don’t stress—let the journey unfold! This is your journey, and it needs to work for you. Modify, adapt, and lean into this amazing community for encouragement, ideas, support, and plenty of laughter. If you need an accountability buddy, hit me up! I’m happy to cheer you on, remind you that you’ve got this, and possibly convince you that adding more weight is a completely reasonable idea.
The more you lean in, the easier it becomes to feel like part of the community. Learn what works for others, steal the good ideas—we call that research—and try incorporating some of those gems into your own routine.
Let’s crush this with heart, hustle, and HRM power balls! (The recipes are in the virtual cookbook, because we all love yummy snacks! I fully support this policy.)
Looking forward to interacting with you on the page, cheering you on, and sweating alongside you!
Danielle McCune ~ Campbell River, BC
Danielle McCune ~ Campbell River, BC #AmbassadorDucky here and stoked for my fifth journey!! Ducky is a lifelong nickname from my little sister & wonderfully describes my plucky personality!
I first found HRM through a coworker! I saw her confidence glowing and her beauty sparkle from the inside out and I wanted to know more!! I joined for the workouts but have come to learn there is so much more growth available beyond the body. When you take a chance on yourself and lean into the community amazing things can be accomplished!
I have always enjoyed weight lifting and with HRM have found consistency like never before, as well as taking on new, challenging skills like burpees, HIITs and other plyometrics!
I'm currently working on my 1st unassisted pull up & increasing my endurance and recovery for longer hiking adventures! I am also learning to let my light shine bright through trust & love for myself.
I was honoured with being chosen as a Finalist on the 2025 Spring Journey! I attribute that to going all in! I adopted a beginner's mindset, even with years of fitness experience, I trusted the process.
With HRM I've realized consistent healthy habits come from chasing the feeling over focusing on the number on the scale! The tools for success are all here but the secret sauce really is the community! We are all here to lift each other up!! I believe daily gratitude & speaking kindly to yourself go a long way!! You are worthy now, just as you are!
Post your #swelfies, join a zoom, like the Thursday evening yoga I host & be sure to check out an in-person event if you can! Reach out if you have questions, need support or are just looking to make a new friend!
I can't wait to see all we will accomplish together on this journey! Autumn 2026, let's Go!! 💪🐤

Denise Levorson ~ Cabri, SK
Denise Levorson ~ Cabri, SK HELLO and WELCOME to all the new and returning HRM’s! Yes you definitely are in the right place! This is the Autumn Journey 2026 and it’s going to be AMAZING!
I am so excited and incredibly honoured to be an Ambassador within this community of liked minded women who put their health and well being as a priority while supporting each other along the way!
My name is Denise, this will be Journey #19 for me and my 6th time in the role of ambassador. My journeys throughout the years have all been different due to a variety of factors and all in a good way. Lots of learning, self development, making the workouts more “personalized” with modifications but the most successful journeys I have are because of the connections of this HRM community! It is the “SECRET SAUCE.”
I am a young 60 year old, retired from Healthcare who lives on a farm in Southwest Saskatchewan, married to an incredible guy for 36 years and together 42 years who is still farming. I have 2 adult kids along with their spouses and 2 beautiful grandkids and with another on the way!! They make my life more full and rewarding. My FAMILY is my “why!” To keep up with the growing family I need to keep active, strong and be a good all round HEALTHY ROLE MODEL!!!
HRM is more than a fitness program for me, I have learned to make my health a priority, set goals and boundaries, be proud of my accomplishments, create positive energy, and a mindset. This is a lifestyle!
The information and support you will receive is incredible and you are not alone! There is valuable information on nutrition and physio support it truly is the best program you will find.
The biggest take away is to BELIEVE in yourself that you can accomplish anything that you set your heart and mind too. Stay engaged on the page, reach out to others, join the in person events , the virtual ZOOM events and you will gain new friendships and camaraderie with others who share in the same interests as you!
Diane Antoniuk ~ Bonnyville, AB
Diane Antoniuk ~ Bonnyville, AB Welcome to Autumn Journey 2026! I look forward to cheering you all on and celebrating your wins with you. I am so honoured to be joining this journey as an Ambassador for the 5th time! How incredible is that??
I joined HRM in the spring of 2021. Many of my colleagues joined that spring and I didn’t want to be left out. Little did I know, how it would change my life in so many ways. After 11 journeys, I’m still here and can’t imagine my life without HRM. With some recent health scares for myself and my husband, I know that being a part of this community has had a huge impact on how I was able to navigate those trying times. The support from this community is like no other I have ever experienced.
Here’s just a little bit about me. I was raised on a farm but never imagined I would be living my best life with my farmer husband. We have been married for 28 years. Our 20-year-old daughter is starting her third year of University, and our 18-year-old son will be starting his first. So this begins our empty nest.
As a family, we love to ski, snowmobile, water ski, and scuba dive. We feel very blessed that our young adult children still want to spend this time with us. I have been an RN for over 30 years, with about 29 years as a Public Health Nurse working in the rural community of Bonnyville Alberta. I joined level 55 in May and have been enjoying my retirement ever since.
I have so much advice but I’ll just say these 3 things.
*Take those swelfies and post on the page. If we can’t see you, we can’t support you.
*Join a zoom workout. It’s a great way to make some connections.
*Comment on posts. Become a part of this amazing supportive community.
There are so many beautiful connections in this community. It really is the secret sauce! Connection is the key that brings it all together. We all love celebrating each other.
Let’s DO THIS!
Donna Schibli ~ Smithers, BC
Donna Schibli ~ Smithers, BCHello and welcome to this amazing community of women supporting & encouraging each other to be their best!
My name is Donna Schibli and this is my 24th consecutive journey! I am honoured to be chosen as an ambassador to cheer you on.
I live in northern BC in the small town of Smithers. I am 64 yrs old and have been retired for the past year. I love retired life. I have 2 grown children (Kayla & Trent) both married and I have been married to Andrew for 40 years. He gets me and puts up with my shenanigans. Also, we have 2 amazing grandchildren who are almost 7 and 4 years old. My family is my why. I want to be able to play with the ‘littles’ and be a fun grandma not a spectator grandma.
I will be forever grateful for being introduced to this program by a couple co-workers. I have always been active in cardio type activities, but strength training had definitely been sidelined many years ago.
I have learned how important strength training is especially as we age and that it is totally doable at any age. I have also learned it is not about perfection but rather being consistent.
Another take away this program has taught me is to be realistic about my goals because then they are achievable and when you achieve your goals it makes you want to keep going.
I look forward to supporting you during the autumn journey. We will share our triumphs, our challenges and most importantly we will be doing it together.
I am excited for the journey to start and see where it takes each and every one of us. You have already done the hard part by signing up.
Let’s do it!!

Erica Tyler-Mollon ~ Port Alberni, BC
Erica Tyler-Mollon ~ Port Alberni, BCHi everyone! My name is Erica and I am excited to be joining the Healthy Role Models Ambassador Team for the first time and to share this Journey with all of you.
I’m 49 and was born and raised in Port Alberni, BC. My husband Greg and I love living here and feel fortunate to call Vancouver Island home. Our daughter is 18 and starting her second year of university and our son is 16 and heading into Grade 12. I also have an adult stepson and three grandchildren. Greg and I are both CPA, CAs and run an accounting practice together. Outside of work, I love yoga, reading, staying active, spending time with my family at the lake, and I’m also learning to play the piano.
I was introduced to Healthy Role Models by a friend in Spring 2019, and Autumn 2026 will be my 16th consecutive Journey. What has kept me coming back is the flexibility, the consistency, and especially the connection. I love that HRM fits into real life and encourages us to make our health a priority without expecting perfection. Over the years, HRM has taught me the value of movement, recovery, routine, and simply continuing to show up.
The HRM community has become an important part of my life. I regularly take part in weekly Zoom workouts, and that connection and accountability have shown me just how powerful it can be when women encourage and support one another. For me, being a Healthy Role Model isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about choosing health, finding what works in your own life, supporting others, and continuing to show up.
I’m looking forward to connecting with you, celebrating your wins, and cheering you on along the way. 💖

Evelyn Parker ~ Parksville, BC
Evelyn Parker ~ Parksville, BCHello and welcome HRM sisters!
My name is Evelyn and this will be my 12th consecutive HRM journey. I love this incredible community so much I cannot imagine not having it in my life. The Autumn Journey is magical, so I am so excited and completely honoured to serve as an HRM ambassador for the fourth time this Autumn.
I was born and raised on Vancouver Island and love where I live. I reside in Parksville, BC with my husband of 32 years. We have two adult children (ages 30 and 33), who live in Australia and Courtenay, BC.
I run a small bookkeeping business in Parksville BC.
When I am not behind a desk, I am burning off my excess energy riding my road bike or spin bike, running on trails and roads, hiking, paddle boarding and strength training with my fellow HRMs. Thanks to Healthy Role Models I now know firsthand, the benefits of strength training for health and longevity. Since joining this community I have become stronger physically and mentally. The community of like-minded women is a powerful force that inspires, challenges and motivates in a loving, magical way. I have experienced first-hand the incredible feeling of connecting with women who want to support you and see you grow and succeed. I cannot wait to play a more active role in these connections in an ambassador.
The Healthy Role Models philosophy and formula for physical and mental success is fool proof. Feeling isolated and lonely? Reach out in the community. Someone will always be there to cheer you on, and help you pick yourself back up. Experiencing an injury or physical setback? That's okay! HRM embraces modifying for your individual needs while still progressing. It is a beautiful thing. Need some advice or education? Healthy Role Models has in-house experts that are pros in their respective fields. Also, your fellow Healthy Role Models are a wealth of knowledge and resources, eager to be of assistance.
It is my absolute pleasure to be here and I cannot wait to cheer you on and watch you thrive and flourish in this community rich with support and love. I look forward to supporting you as we work towards our healthy lifestyle goals together!
💖 Evelyn

Jacqueline Bennett ~ Victoria, BC
Jacqueline Bennett ~ Victoria, BC Hello HRM beauties and welcome to the 2026 Autumn Journey!!!
My name is Jacqueline Bennett (aka Jax) and I am beyond excited and very honoured to be one of your Ambassadors for this journey. I am so looking forward to growing and thriving with you all during this journey and helping to make it one of our best yet! This will be my 23rd journey with Healthy Role Models. Joining this incredible community was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I cannot imagine life without it. I have formed lifelong friendships here and it has truly changed me inside and out.
A little bit about me, I am married to a wonderful husband who was my teenage sweetheart and we have a 15 year old son James and a seven year old dog Bella. I am an Emergency Dispatch Coordinator for Fortis BC (LOVE my job) and work full time. We live in Victoria BC and one of our favourite past times is boating on our 34’ catamaran. During the summer months you will find us exploring the Gulf Islands as much as we can enjoying hiking, kayaking, swimming, and soaking in alllll the #outdoorphins!!!
I joined HRM back in the Fall of 2015 when I was at my heaviest weight and at a pretty low point in my life. When I first heard about this group I honestly thought, “How much could an on-line fitness group truly help me?” I was admittedly skeptical but shortly after joining I could see how special this group truly was. I discovered one of the main things that was missing for me before…Connection! This is one of the most unique things about HRM, connection. It is what brings the magic. Honestly. So different from anything I had done and I have been hooked ever since. By being so connected to the group and learning all that I can, I feel more empowered and confident than I ever have. Choosing to challenge my comfort zone in all aspects of life like I have never, ever done before. HRM isn’t just about exercise, it is SO much more. It is a journey of learning how to live a healthious life, a journey of mental wellness and learning to love yourself and every imperfect part of you!
I made a commitment to make my health a priority so that I would be a better person for myself and my family and I am excited and honoured to help you along your journey to achieve your health and wellness goals as I continue towards mine too!!
Karina McLaughlin ~ Comox Valley, BC
Karina McLaughlin ~ Comox Valley, BC Hello Healthy Role Models!
Welcome to a truly magical place.
My name is Karina McLaughlin and I am honoured to be joining you this Autumn Journey as an ambassador! This will be my seventh journey with Healthy Role Models.
I am privileged to live in the Comox Valley. I am a teacher at a school that has many Healthy Role Models. It's amazing to be surrounded by women who inspire and uplift one another. I am a mother to my two wonderful children who are 8 and 2. My husband is my biggest supporter and cheerleader who grounds me. You'll see me getting my workouts done surrounded by my children, their toys, and in general life chaos. I'm in the thick of it making it happen!
I joined Healthy Role Models when my son was 8 weeks old. I am proud that my children are growing up with a mother who takes care of herself. (This wasn't always my story.)
With the support and confidence of this community I can proudly say, I am an athlete! I run, I bike, I swim, and I lift heavy. I work hard and I play even harder. I recover and spend time in nature with my family. Consistency is the real flex here. If I can offer any advice, I'd say work on being consistent. You don't need to do anything perfect, just keep showing up for yourself! Show up for yourself, and share your wins with us!
I can't wait to cheer you all on!
Kristi Hurst-Burnett ~ Calgary, AB
Kristi Hurst-Burnett ~ Calgary, AB Hello to the new and returning HRMs to the Autumn 2026 journey!
A little about me, my name is Kristi and this is my 11th season with HRM, my 17th journey and the second time being an Ambassador! To say I am excited to be back is an understatement!
I am married to my best friend Evan and live in Calgary. We've been in Alberta since 2018 and love the life we've built here. We both are from BC and try to get out to visit family and friends as much as we can. We are the proud animal parents of our beautiful golden mix Asia and sassy cat Georgie. I work for RBC in the Financial Planning department and LOVE my job! I get to work from home which is such a blessing. Both hubby and I plan on working 5 more years and retirement here we come!
Travel is our passion. We try to take two trips a year and make them as memorable and fun as possible! Next big one is in 2027 where we will be cruising the Mediterranean. Our plan after retirement is to rent out our place for a year and live in Europe! We're saving hard and counting down the days ;)
What does HRM mean to me? I came into the community at a time in my life when I was sedentary and needing a kick in the butt! My sister-in-law Sarah convinced me to join and I am so glad I did! I'll admit I was SO nervous the first journey and felt like a fish out of water. I began to realize quickly that the support and encouragement in the community was so genuine and real. I thrived for the first couple of years and then a health event in 2019 sidelined me for some time. But I came back in 2021 and it was like I never left! The workouts, the friendships made and this community are incredible and I know I will be a HRM for life!
Jump in with both feet, it may feel overwhelming at first but once you realize that you are surrounded by support, love and a community of like-minded women it will start to feel like home. Ask the questions, connect with others, join a Zoom workout or an "in-person" event. I promise you won't regret it!
Welcome ladies, let's do this!
Lisa Alguire ~ Vancouver, BC
Lisa Alguire ~ Vancouver, BCHello fellow HRMs!
My name is Lisa, and this will be my 11th consecutive journey and my first time as an ambassador.
Before HRM, my only real activity was walking and yoga. I heard about HRM from a friend who encouraged me to join with her in Autumn 2021. At that time, I had no real idea what to expect when I signed up other than that it was an online workout program. I quickly realized it was so much more than that. HRM is an amazing community of supportive women who encourage each other to be their best. Over the years, I have met so many incredible women who I now consider good friends. I now honestly cannot imagine my life without HRM.
HRM has been such a positive experience for me. In Spring 2024, I was honoured to be selected as a Grand Transformation Finalist. I am stronger in my 50s than I have ever been, but that did not happen overnight. During my first journey, I started with 3, 5, and 8-pound weights. Now I have weights up to 30 pounds! For me, HRM has shown that consistency is the key to success. It is not about being perfect. It is about showing up, doing your best and trusting the process.
I am Level 54!! I have lived in BC my whole life and now reside in Vancouver with my #bigripple. We have a Yorkie named Chewie, and if you are lucky, you might spot him sneaking into my #swelfies! For more than 20 years, was an occupational therapist but recently made the switch to a Clinical Planner role in Virtual Health.
When I am not working or working out, I enjoy walking, attending plays and making cards. I love being crafty and have met some wonderful crafty friends over the years, including a few fellow HRMs! I am also a huge Hallmark movie fan and have even attended events at Martinitown, where many Hallmark movies are filmed.
My advice to anyone starting their HRM journey is simple: just start. You do not need a perfect setup or a lot of space. I live in a small condo, and my workout area is the floor space between my bed and dresser! I use our parkade for HIIT workouts. What matters most is taking that first step and staying consistent. My second piece of advice is to fully embrace the community. Engage on the page, post your #swelfies, ask questions, attend events, and celebrate every victory, no matter how small it may seem. Every accomplishment is worth recognizing. I cannot wait to get to know all of you and be part of your HRM journey!
Paula Flemming ~ Port Alberni, BC
Paula Flemming ~ Port Alberni, BC I’m Paula, Pk on the page and this is my 23rd consecutive HRM journey.
When I first discovered HRM, I knew I was searching for something more. What I didn’t realize was that I wasn’t just looking for a fitness program, I was looking for community and connection with likeminded women.
I found an incredible group of women who would lift me up, challenge me, believe in me, and inspire me to live a truly healthy life physically and mentally. That powerful commitment to women supporting women drew me in and changed everything.
I’m an Education Assistant at a beautiful First Nations school here in the Alberni Valley. At home, my husband Kevin has embraced this healthy lifestyle right alongside me. He joins me for workouts, supports my nutrition goals, and continues to grow and learn with me. Having a partner who cheers me on makes this journey even more meaningful; it’s a lifestyle.
HRM has given me something I never expected and desperately needed: confidence. With every journey, I’ve pushed myself a little further beyond my comfort zone. I’ve climbed mountains, ridden a bike through Italy, can run a 10K in under an hour, and discovered strength I never knew I had.
I’ve built a strong foundation and with each journey, I continue to build upon it, growing stronger, more capable, and more confident with each new challenge. Now, well into my 50s, I’m stronger, healthier, and more confident than ever, and ready to see where this next journey takes me.
But the greatest gift HRM has given me isn’t fitness, it’s the friendships I needed in my life. Because of this community, I have an incredible circle of women who inspire me, encourage me, laugh with me, and stand beside me. These friendships have become one of the most treasured parts of my life.
So, as I begin my 23rd journey, I’m reminded that HRM isn’t just about becoming stronger physically. It’s about discovering what you’re capable of, believing in yourself, and surrounding yourself with women who will never let you give up on yourself.
I am truly honoured to be part of your journey. And I can’t wait to walk, sweat, laugh, grow, and celebrate right alongside you.
Rebecca Coley Hutchison ~ Courtenay, BC
Rebecca Coley Hutchison ~ Courtenay, BC Hi! I'm Rebecca!
This is Journey #16 for me and my 7th time as an ambassador. I joined this amazing community in the Spring of 2018 after having my second baby to get some workouts that I could do at home and had no idea what was to come. This place is so much more than workouts, it's community, connection, inspiration, and accountability. I love to cheer people on and I look forward to cheering for YOU! I love it here!
I am a wife, a mum, a dog lover, a primary teacher, and a lover of the outdoors. I love running in the trails, dog walking, mountain biking, camping, and skiing, and living in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island provides plenty of opportunities! My husband and I have two little girls (7 & 9) and 2 dogs. Role modeling a healthy lifestyle for them and being strong and able to keep up to them is what brought me here, but it's that feeling of strength in all areas of my life that keeps ME at the centre of my why. Life is busy and loud and full of all the things, but putting my health first helps me to show up as my best self. I love the feeling of being strong and it's because of this community that I am the most fit in my life... at 40!
You'll find me working out in the early mornings before the house gets moving for the day to make sure I get that time for me. I'm not a morning person, but morning workouts have become my jam. That feeling of pride sticks with you all day. You'll never regret it! Over the years a couple of lines from this program have really stuck with me: "Challenge equals change" when it's hard, it hurts, and you don't want to - dig deep and you'll be so glad you did. "Let pride be your metric" celebrate your wins, big or small!
I'm stoked you're here and can't wait to cheer you on. This place is truly magic!

Sarah Bishop ~ Nanaimo, BC Hello everyone! My name is Sara and I am beyond excited to begin the 2026 Autumn Journey and take on the role of ambassador! Whether this is your first journey or you've completed many, I look forward to cheering you on this Autumn!
I was first introduced to HRM at a 10k run event in the Cowichan Valley years ago. Everywhere I looked there were women in colourful HRM tank tops, encouraging and cheering each other on. It was super inspiring and the contagious energy certainly grabbed my attention. I'd never seen anything like it! That spring, a co-worker asked if I wanted to join the Spring Journey and I instantly remembered that amazing spirit and decided to go for it. I haven't looked back and honestly I can't imagine not being a part of it. This Autumn will be my 15th journey! The 'family feel' in this community is remarkable. Staying connected to a community of like-minded, supportive women has been invaluable for keeping me motivated and inspired to continue my personal fitness journey. I love the program's flexibility and how it really is built for everyBODY. There is always so much to learn and so many ways to grow in each journey and we do it together! I'm all for cheering people on and celebrating wins! POST AND SHARE THOSE WINS! No matter how big or small, they matter and are worth celebrating!
A little about me - I was born and raised on the Island in the Courtenay area but Nanaimo has been home for 35 years. My husband and I have been married for 32 years; we've raised two fantastic kids (who live near by - yay for me!) and an old chocolate Lab who still keeps us on our toes. I work as a Dental Assistant in an orthodontic office but in my spare time I like to get outdoors and hike a trail or dig in the garden. I love getting crafty and have jumped on the sourdough-making train which is so satisfying.
Let's do some amazing things this Autumn! We are in the best place and we'll do it together!
Sara 😊
