HRM AMBASSADORS
some of whom have walked the very same path as you
Annette Propp ~ Calgary, AB
Hello you Beautiful chosen Sistas!!
Hello Healthy Role Models, new, veterans and everything in between. I am incredibly humbled and excited to be a part of the Autumn 2024 Ambassador Team.
I hope to bring energy, laughs, inspiration, thoughts and connections to the page. Excited to cheer, support and all the things that I have been so grateful to have had come my way from previous, and always incredible Ambassadors in my 13 journeys with HRM. I am fabulously 52 years life experienced, from Calgary, AB., husband, 2 adult children and a tuxedo cat, Mr Slippers.
I have been a yo-yo-er in my earlier years with my weight, workouts and health routines, looking for that âfixâ. Since coming to HRM, I have come to understand and embrace that this is about the long game, the consistency, and progress over perfection, recognizing the forward IS forward. That our health is so much more then the scale. I remember being young and my Dad trying to get me into running. We went out, downhill and maybe went 50 feet, and I told him I was done. Exercise was never my focus or priority. HRM has changed that, and I now know, understand and FEEL all the benefits of taking care of myself, that taking care of me helps me, and helps me take care of others.
The women of HRM have brought so much to my heart and spirit, I have gained friends, AKA #chosensisters #tripleP (positive peer pressure) that have pushed me outside my comfort zone and been my cheerleaders and support. Women I had never met, were cheering for me. How special is that?! I am going to keep this short, I really have so much to say, want to share, and all the things, but time for some action here.
Hope you will join us for Autumn 2024, be all in, to be your best, discover the extraordinary you that deserves to be seen.
xo Annette,
#HRMnettie

Welcome here and welcome back to each and every one of you beautiful, strong women who find yourselves here.  Making yourself and your health a priority is a big step and I see you here for it!
This will be my 12th journey and 6th as an ambassador and I canât imagine myself anywhere else.  I love this community so much and cherish the friendships, knowledge, and inspiration I receive each journey (and in between!).Â
I am a proud member of the #mbcrew and call Winnipeg home.  I'm 46, married to Andy for 19 years, mom to Sam (17) and Grace (9), and we round out the household with the fur babies, Rico, Skelly, and Luna. I work at a large aerospace company here in the city and am training for a new role that has been challenging with so many new things to learn. Â
I came to HRM through a good friend and I have never looked back!  This community is positive and supportive in a way like no other.  It is more than just an âexercise programâ.  Inspiration, support, personal growth, yoga, breathing, videos for proper form, events, and fun, to name a few!  Friendships too, because I canât forget those!  I have met so many women that I never would have met otherwise, in person and virtually.  Some on the other side of the country and some on the other side of the world!  We are brought together with a desire to do something for us, to put ourselves at the top of that to-do list, to grow and change and challenge ourselves.  It is truly inspiring.
Whether this is your first journey or youâre a seasoned veteran I encourage you to make this journey your own. If you need to focus on one thing, do that.  Is there something new you want to try but itâs out of your comfort zone?  Share that, lean on us, we will support you like nobodyâs business!  Need some accountability for late night snacking, becoming an early bird, that first Zoom workout, upping those weights?  Weâve got you!  Reach out.  Did you read a post and were inspired?  Tell that goddess because thatâs how we make those all important connections that are what we call the âsecret sauceâ.  I know itâs scary to do but it feels so good to give and receive support!
I always end with a promise to keep it real every journey and this one is no exception.  You will see me as I am, the ups and the downs, the challenges, the fist pumping moments and everything in between.
You are worth being here.
Letâs go girls.
Â
Colleen Deckert ~ Winnipeg, MB
This will be my 12th journey and my 2nd time as an HRM Ambassador! Having seen the difference a great Ambassador can make, Iâm looking forward to learning from others and taking on this challenge.
Iâve completed 11 journeys, all with varying degrees of success. Given my previous busy work schedule (including lots of travel), I had such a difficult time sticking to the program and certainly not engaging in The Posse. Sometimes I was just treading water to get to the end of the journey thinking âmy NEXT journey will be the one!â
All that changed with my retirement 16 months ago which has afforded me the luxury of timeâŠtime for me, time to focus on my fitness goals and time to connect with this beautiful community. Who would have thought that, in retirement, Iâd be getting up at 5:30 three times a week to support and be supported by the early morning Zoom crew! #willworkoutforstickers
I look forward to our in-person connections too, and am so proud of the #mbcrew and the incredible people Iâve met. Now my workouts are a non-negotiable part of my life and my daily routine.
A little about meâŠborn and raised in Manitoba, I am a prairie girl living in Winnipeg and will turn 62 this summer. Iâve been married for 40 years and we have four grown children and seven grandbabies. I love dogs, nature, gardening and believe in family and long-time treasured friendships.
I have a deep desire to share inspiration and provide insight wherever I can. I continually look for ways to surround myself with positive role models who embody this belief, like I do. I am committed to sharing in your wins and lifting you up when you lose your way - I understand this as Iâve been there too.
As we prepare for this Spring journey, Iâm excited to take this journey with you all.
Hereâs to keeping our squats low and our standards high!
Â
Dawn Meek ~ Brandon, MB
Hey Healthy Role Models!
Iâm super pumped to be returning as an Ambassador for Autumn 2024! Itâs so motivating in my own personal journey to be cheering you all on and celebrating wins together!
I live in Brandon MB with my husband, teenage daughter and 2 pups. Our #brandoncrew is small but mighty!
My health journey has been just that, a journey! I have been there and done that. I joined HRM after losing my mom as a âweight lossâ plan. 8 years ago!
Â
I have essentially grown up within the HRM community. The things I have learned, the people I have met and connected with, and the strength Iâve built - both emotionally and physically, are all because of HRM. Itâs such a well rounded community that builds a foundation of health, that everyone should have successes! Itâs what you make of it, you get what you give!
Spring is such an amazing time to reset or revisit some old goals, and to make improvements in all areas of your life. Thereâs something refreshing about the warmer temps, longer days and the motivation to come out of hibernation.
Iâm so excited to be here alongside some badass women to help everyone reach those goals and wins!
Letâs GOOOOOOOOOOOO!Â
Dawn
Denise Levorson ~ Cabri, SK
Eeek, I am so excited and I hope you are too! Welcome to Autumn Journey 2024! My name is Denise Levorson and I am honoured to be an ambassador! I have been with HRM for a number of years ( more than 11 journeys) and the last few journeys have been my most successful due to a variety of reasons but the biggest and most important one is the connections of this HRM community!
I am 58 years young and recently retired last spring, I was a Manager in Primary Health  Care. I grew up in Saskatoon and didnât know what a farmer was until I married one! I live on a farm in Cabri, SK which is in the southwest close to Swift Current! I have been with my husband for 40 years and married 34 years coming up! We have 2 kids and one grandson and family really is my reason to be the best version of me, and I want to be that âstrong and fit Grammy!â
I always said âI donât know what I want to do when I grow upâŠâ I have a recreation diploma, a physical education degree, EMT and LPN license and I can marry people and I  work as a community coroner. Throughout my life I was always giving my time to everyone and everything else and I put me on the back burner. There wasnât much work life balance until I changed that and said I schedule everyone else in, I am scheduling me in for my workouts! HRM is not just about an amazing exercise program in  which you can do anywhere and at anytime, it a LIFESTYLE! The information, encouragement and support you receive is incredible and you are not alone. There is valuable information on nutrition and Physio support, it truly is the best program you will find.
The biggest take away I can give to you is believe in yourself that you can accomplish anything that you set your heart and mind too. Stay engaged on the page, reach out to others , join in on the ZOOM events and you will gain new friendships and camaraderie with other like minded women who share similar goals.
I look forward to cheering you on and you will be inspiring me!

Â
Welcome to Autumn Journey 2024! I am so excited to be joining this journey as an Ambassador for the 1st time! I look forward to cheering you all on and celebrating your successes.
During my first journey I turned 50, and never imagined I would become as strong as I am today. I am now 53 years young. I was raised on a farm and always said I would never marry a farmer. Oh boyâŠnever say never! My husband and I have been married for 26 years. Our 18-year-old daughter graduated from high school in June, and is heading off to University, and our 16-year-old son is going into the 11th grade. HRM has really helped me navigate all those teenage hormones!
As a family, we love to ski, snowmobile, water ski, and scuba dive. We feel very blessed that our teenagers still want to spend this time with us.
I joined HRM in the spring of 2021. It was FOMO mostly. Many of my colleagues joined that spring and I didnât want to be left out. Little did I know, how it would change my life in so many ways. After 7 journeys, Iâm still here and canât imagine my life without HRM.Â
I have so much advice but Iâll just say these 3 things.
*Take those swelfies and post on the page.
*Join a zoom workout

There are so many beautiful connections in this community. It really is the secret sauce!
Connection is the key that brings it all together. We all love celebrating each other.
Letâs DO THIS!
Â
Donna Schibli ~ Smithers, BC
Â
My name is Donna Schibli and this will be my 20th journey!Â
I live in a small town in northern BC called Smithers. I am excited to be back with this amazing team of ambassadors. I stepped aside from the ambassador role for the spring journey to process the loss of my dear Mom.Â
I was a dental assistant for 42 years and officially retired from that career this year. I currently own a quilt and yarn shop and am in the process of selling that to officially retire and enjoy more of what life has to offer. I think Iâve earned it!
I have 2 adult children, both married and 2 adorable grandchildren and have been married for 36 years. Hubby is a very supportive and encouraging partner who is always up for some sort of adventure.Â
I was introduced to HRM by some friends who had done one journey and were quite successful so I was curious. When I signed up for my first journey I hadnât planned on this being a 10 year affair but but like potato chips I couldnât âeatâ just one!! I certainly found out quickly this programÂ
is about so much more than working out. It is camaraderie, support, friendship which truly makes it a lifestyle. I will elaborate more on that and many other things in my formal introduction.Â
Congratulations to each and every one of you for taking the first step to becoming a better version of you!Â
I canât wait to start cheering you on.Â

Jacqueline Bennett ~ Victoria, BC
Â
Hello HRM beauties and welcome to the 2024 Autumn Journey!!! Â
My name is Jacqueline Bennett (aka Jax) and I am beyond excited and very honoured to be one of your Ambassadorâs for this journey. Autumn is one of my most favourite seasons. A time to get back to routine and re-focusing on my goals. I am so looking forward to growing and thriving with you all during this journey and helping to cheer you towards achieving your goals! This will be my 19th journey and I plan on making this one my absolute best! Joining this incredible community was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I cannot imagine life without it. I have formed lifelong friendships here and it has truly changed me inside and out.  Â
A little bit about me, I am married to a wonderful husband who was my teenage sweetheart and we have a 13 year old son James and a 6 year old dog Bella. I am an Emergency Dispatch Coordinator for Fortis BC (LOVE my job) and work full time. We live in Victoria BC and one of our favourite past times is boating on our 34â catamaran. During the summer months you will find us exploring the Gulf Islands as much as we can enjoying hiking, kayaking, swimming, and soaking in alllll the #outdoorphins we can!!
I joined HRM back in the Fall of 2015 when I was at my heaviest weight and not very happy in life. I had been fairly active in previous years doing mainly bootcamps or gym workouts but I never fully committed to anything. When I first heard about this group I honestly thought, âHow much could an on-line fitness group truly help me?â I was admittedly skeptical but shortly after joining I could see how special this group truly was. I discovered one of the main things missing for me beforeâŠConnection! This is one of the most unique things about HRM, connection. It is what brings the magic. I had no idea that a group of on-line women could keep you motivated and be so supportive. So different from anything I had done and I have been hooked ever since. By being so connected to the group and learning all that I can, I feel more empowered and confident than I ever have before. HRM isnât just about exercise, it is SO much more. It is a journey of learning how to live a healthier life, a journey of mental wellness and learning to love yourself and every imperfect part of you! I have suffered from anxiety for years and used to have to take medication to keep it at bay. It was after starting this program that I was able to stop. Daily movement is my medicine! Â
Every journey has been a little different for me. I have had journeys where the exercise was my complete focus and others nutrition (my monster!) and I have also been knocked out by injury. Even when I was out I still stuck with the program. I found that I needed that connection to keep my awareness of health and nutrition going. This connection also helped me to learn the phrase âWhat CAN I doâ instead of âI CANâT doâ. This is a life journey and we will always have ups and downs but the most important part is that we keep taking steps forward no matter how big or small. Â
Each personâs journey is unique and iautumnt is so important to remember to not compare yourselfâ to others. Some are here for their first journey and some are here for their 12th!! My advice to new comers is to take advantage of all this program has to offer and go into it slowly. It can be overwhelming at the start but the information is so rewarding. Soak it all in. I made a commitment to make my health a priority so that I would be a better person for myself and my family and I am excited and honoured to help you along your journey to achieve your health and wellness goals as I continue towards mine too!!
Jessie Mathie ~ Nanaimo, BC
Welcome! I am very excited to be returning for my 14th consecutive journey as a first time ambassador! I am here to cheer you on and be a listening ear when times are challenging.
Katie Hillier ~ Beaumont, AB
Hello and welcome to the Autumn 2024 journey!
I have been a part of the HRM community since the spring of 2017 â I was looking for a way to be consistent with my health after having my kids when I noticed a friend of mine was eating better and looking healthy. She recommended HRM, and I havenât looked back since!Â
I am a high school science teacher and my husband and I have two girls who are 10 and 13. I love that for most of their lives theyâve known me as someone who works out! What an amazing thing to be able to model for them.Â
HRM has given me the support that I need to stay moving, and the confidence to try new things. When you can see other women like you doing cool activities, it tells your brain that you can probably do those things too. Since joining HRM, I have hiked to the top of several mountains, paddle boarded in the ocean, and regularly do fun things with my family like aerial parks! I can also do not-as-cool things (like help move heavy boxes) way more easily than I could before. Truly training for life!Â
I love the accountability that this community provides, and I hope that you reach out if you ever have questions or need encouragement. Looking forward to crushing it with you!
Laurelle Loe ~ St. Albert, AB
Welcome!
My name is Laurelle, and Iâm so excited about what is ahead for us all. This is my 17th journey with Healthy Role Models and my 13th as an ambassador, and I say with certainty that our Healthy Role Model community is a very special place. Whatever your goals or reasons for being here... I can assure you that you belong!Â
I celebrated turning forty this past Christmas, and my husband and I will celebrate our 20th anniversary in the spring. We have four kids, and we both work full time. Life is full, fun, and seems to be getting a bit crazier each year the kids grow, but in the best way! We are so grateful for each day, and as time passes the importance of living well becomes more and more apparent.Â
Before I tell you about why I love HRM, I should explain a bit about where I was before joining in the autumn of 2016. I had just spent two years struggling against the scale, watching the numbers creep up and feeling my energy and confidence creep down. I never ate breakfast, survived on Diet Coke and coffee, and had those extra large sized bags of chips hidden in my car. I knew I wanted something different but I had no idea how to achieve it.Â
HRM offered me the tools I needed to make those changes. I have learnt how to make my health a priority, how to reshape negative habits into habits that serve my goals, and how to fuel my body. More than that, HRM offered me community and support - key pieces I didnât even know I was missing - which have been an amazing blessing in my life. The ripples into my family and friends has been amazing - they inspire me daily.Â
Itâs important to include that I am still here because this program is about a sustainable, achievable, and positive lifestyle. I have more capacity to tackle obstacles, adapt to uncertainty, and embrace new opportunities. Even in the midst of difficulty, I have found my outlook has shifted towards looking for what is possible, what is ahead...embracing and enjoying life in big and small ways.I love being here and I am so glad you are too!
Leanne Gavaghan ~ Nanaimo, BC
Â
Hello and welcome to the Autumn 2024 Journey!
My name is Leanne and I was born and raised on beautiful Vancouver Island where I live with my Husband and two dogs. This will be my 12th consecutive journey but I am so excited and honored to say, my first as an HRM Ambassador! There is something so special about Autumn, to me the change in season feels like a new year and I am so thrilled to be on this journey with you!
I initially joined Healthy Role Models for the health and fitness aspect but soon discovered, this was much more than just an amazing workout program. This community has had an immensely positive impact on my life. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to meet and connect with so many like minded individuals both on the page and in person. They have helped encourage and inspire me to create so many healthy habits which have changed my mindset entirely.Â
I have always been active through various sports growing up and absolutely love being outdoors. My happiest place is on the water (likely on my paddleboard) or in the trees walking or hiking. I have an adventurous spirit and love to challenge myself by stepping outside of my comfort zone as that is often where the magic happens! Most recently this involves running/walking in the TC10K, learning to mountain bike and trying new dance classes!Â
Whether you are a brand new or returning to HRM, I encourage you to reach out and keep making connections, they are so valuable and inspiring! If you are looking for something to inspire you to gain strength, learn to better fuel your body, connect with like minded individuals and focus on personal growth, you are in the right place. I can't wait to complete this journey alongside you!!Â
Lesley Nichol ~ MacGregor, MB
Welcome to this incredible community of chosen sisters!
This is my 2nd time as an Ambassador and it is truly my honour to have been selected.Â
My name is Lesley and I live in a small rural community called MacGregor, Manitoba. This is my 10th consecutive journey with HRM and without sounding dramatic, this community has changed my life!Â
I am a mother to three amazing adult children (Tyler, Connor and Emily) and I have been married for 30 years to a super supportive husband (Marc). My greatest title is when I get called âGrandmaâ from my almost 4-year-old granddaughter (Brae). My family is my âwhyâ.
I am forever indebted to my sister (Tracey Kleysen) for introducing me to HRM. That first journey I witnessed firsthand the impact and magic of this community. My mindset completely changed to feeling isolated and alone in creating new and improved healthier habits to embracing everyoneâs advice and support in guiding me to a better place both physically and emotionally.
I have learned to make my health a priority, how to reshape negative thoughts and habits into positive ones and how to realistically set goals for myself. I have learned so much from this community including that I genuinely love the woman I am. I never realized the gift I would get from such a supportive team, cheering me on and inspiring me to be the best version of myself.
I canât wait to support your journey as an ambassador. We will share our joys and our challenges but most importantly we will support each other through all of them.Â
Let pride be your metric! The fact that you signed up with HRM is already a huge win!
I am super pumped you are here! You have found the perfect place to land! This community is like no other! Letâs goâŠâŠ

Lori Ash ~ Gilbert Plains, MB
Welcome everyone to this wonderful community of like-minded individuals - Healthy Role Models! This is one of the main reasons I joined. Being surrounded by people who are here for the same reasons as you is so powerful. You are not alone on your journey of health and well- being! So congrats for taking this step!
My name is Lori Ash and this is my 11 th HRM journey and first time ambassador. I am 53 years old, married for 28 years to my hubby, and mother to my girls who are 25 and 26 years old. I have my Masterâs degree in Education with a focus on guidance and counselling. I âretiredâ from my permanent position as a middle school teacher and guidance counsellor for K-12 in my small town, Gilbert Plains, Manitoba. However, I have been taking term positions, and this fall I am returning to a 0.25 guidance position in the K-8 school.Â
I have been active my whole life which include gymnastics, swimming, National Lifeguard, and an aerobics instructor. Today, I enjoy running, walking, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, strength training, yoga, snowshoeing in the winter, fishing with my hubby, and just being outside in nature.Â
Healthy Role Models is really a lifestyle. The workouts suit everyone and can easily be worked into any schedule. You will develop strength, resilience, persistence, self- confidence, and a sense of power by taking control of your health. This program is well-rounded and includes HIIT workouts, nutrition support, and yoga. There is also so much help available to you. So all I can say is lean into this community. If you are struggling, reach out. Someone will have gone through or is going through the same bumps along the way and can give you the support you need. Also, trust the process. Follow the guidelines and you will see changes, physically and mentally. Weâve got you!
I am looking forward to seeing you post on the page and cheering for you along the way. Post the selfie, join Zoom events, join in-person events, and just love how your body and mind feels. Movement is medicine and HRM is just that! Â

Midge Smith ~ Qualicum, BC
Woohoo and welcome to the 2024 Autumn Journey. My name is Midge Smith. I am at level 62, live in Qualicum Beach and married 39 years. We have two beautiful daughters, and three awesome grandkids who are my why. This is my 12th consecutive journey.
Some of my favourite things I enjoy are mtn biking, running, resistance training, hiking and pickleball. I also try to make time for baking, reading and swimming.
HRM has taught me that I can accomplish hard things, believe in myself and if you follow through with consistency you can reach your goals. Connections I make on the page and in real life inspire me everyday.
I am honoured once again to be your ambassador. I look forward to helping guide you, cheer for you and hopefully inspire you. This community is like no other. I canât wait for us to get started!
Midge Â
Paula Flemming ~ Port Alberni, BC
Iâm Paula but youâll see me as Pk on the page. I live in Port Alberni with my very supportive HRM Husband. I work as an EA at a beautiful First Nations Cultural school.Â
This will be my 18th consecutive HRM journey. I came to HRM for the fitness program but stayed for the community.  Â
Although, I never have had any weight issues (except those freshman fifteen) but I was never strong and fit. I will be turning 50 this journey and feel fit and fabulous! I enjoy weight training, and am still learning to love cardio. There have been big physical changes in my body, but my biggest changes are on the inside. Eating healthy and nutritious meals is my new way of life.  Food prep and trying different recipes is now hobby I look forward too; I actually like being in the kitchen. With some planning it actually saves me time and helps me stay on track.Â
I love the connections that I have made in Port Alberni and beyond with HRMs from different communities. I used let my anxiety get the best of me and felt lonely and missing out. The tools IÊŒve gained through HRM have taught me to step out of my comfort zone to connect with others. It is work but worth it to be surrounded by so many supportive and inspiring women.
I am dedicated HRM and enjoy getting together with others in healthy activities including working out, hiking, yoga and more. I still really appreciate cake and wine but I believe in balance so I wont deny myself some indulgences.
I feel honored to be apart of your journey and look forward to be here alongside you.Â

Rebecca Coley Hutchison ~ Courtenay, BC
Hi! I'm Rebecca! This is Journey #12 for me and my third time as an ambassador. I joined this amazing community in the Spring of 2018 after having my second baby to get some workouts that I could do at home and had no idea what was to come. This place is so much more than workouts, it's community, connection, inspiration, and accountability. I love to cheer people on and I look forward to cheering for YOU! I love it here!
I am a wife, a mum, a dog lover, a primary teacher, and a lover of the outdoors. I love running in the trails, dog walking, mountain biking, camping, and skiing, and living in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island provides plenty of opportunities! My husband and I have two little girls (4 & 6) and two dogs. Role modeling a healthy lifestyle for them and being strong and able to keep up to them is what brought me here, but it's that feeling of strength in all areas of my life that keeps ME at the centre of my why. Life is busy and loud and full of all the things, but putting my health first helps me to show up as my best self. I love the feeling of being strong and it's because of this community that I am the most fit in my life... at 40!
You'll find me working out in the early mornings before the house gets moving for the day to make sure I get that time for me. I'm not a morning person, but morning workouts have become my jam. That feeling of pride sticks with you all day. You'll never regret it! Over the years a couple of lines from this program have really stuck with me: "Challenge equals change" when it's hard, it hurts, and you don't want to - dig deep and you'll be so glad you did. "Let pride be your metric" celebrate your wins, big or small!Â
I'm stoked you're here and can't wait to cheer you on. This place is truly magic!Â
xo Rebecca

Welcome ladies! It's an honour to be one of your Ambassadors for Autumn 2024. This will be my 12th consecutive journey and fourth time as an ambassador. I live in beautiful Nanaimo, BC with my husband and teenage daughter and I have an adult son that lives close by.
I love to get outside and explore trails, waterfalls and great views are my favourite. You will often find me on my yoga mat, reading, or trying out a new spin class with the #HRMspinqueens. When I first joined Healthy Role Models in 2019, I was just looking for another fitness challenge but quickly realized it's so much more than that. The community of like-minded diverse women will keep you invested time after time. It's so much more than a 12 week physical challenge.
I have met some of the most amazing women that I wouldnât have crossed paths with if it weren't for taking that leap of faith 5 years ago to give the program a try. HRM has been such a catalyst for personal growth for me and each journey brings something new. There is always someone to lift you up or inspire you no matter what you are going through.
If this is your first journey or you are thinking about joining us, I encourage you to go all in and step out of your comfort zone. This community is like no other and I think you will love it here! Have fun, it really has been life changing for me! I hope that I can help inspire and support you in this journey! Can't wait to cheer you on!
