What We’d NEVER Tell You to Do: The Habits That Actually Keep Women Strong + Healthy

All Episodes

Season #4 November 02, 2026

Sarah and Trainer Tanna have coached thousands of women. Here’s what the strong, lean, healthy ones do year-round: a few non-negotiables, no Monday restarts, hard things done well, and a long game mindset. No cleanses, no trends. Just the fundamentals, done most of the time, for decades.

You know the woman who looks healthy, strong, and fit all year long? Sarah and Trainer Tanna have coached thousands of women, and they break down what that person is actually doing. Spoiler: it’s not a juice cleanse. It’s also not stage-ready, which isn’t normal or healthy anyway. This is about the shape you can stay in for the long haul.

What you’ll hear

  • Know who you are first. Borrowed routines don’t last. Decide what works for you and why it matters to you.
  • Keep your non-negotiables few. Strength training, daily movement, protein, sleep, water, time outside, and connection. No stacking on cold plunges and every trend on Instagram.
  • Never start over on Monday. One missed workout or indulgent meal is the minority. Next choice, carry on. Consistency beats intensity.
  • Challenge your body. Sustainable doesn’t mean easy. Lift heavy with great form, climb hills, carry heavy things.
  • Do what matters, not the most. More isn’t better. Strength training, good food, sleep, and recovery, matched to your age and stage of life.
  • Don’t make food and exercise your whole life. Birthday cake, vacations, and dinners out fit inside an 80/20 lifestyle with a consistent foundation.
  • Pair compassion with honesty. Own your choices without the downward spiral. A bad day doesn’t erase the habits you keep most of the time.
  • Adapt instead of quit. No time for 45 minutes? Do 20. Traveling? Walk and do a hotel workout. Injured? Do what you can with professional guidance.
  • Think in years, not weeks. Ask how you want to feel at 60, 70, and 80, not how fast you can fit into the dress.
  • Stay a learner. Be open to growth, respect the fundamentals, and share what you know with other women.

The big picture

The women who stay strong and lean year-round aren’t perfect, and they aren’t constantly motivated. They’ve built a way of living that keeps bringing them back to the fundamentals.
