HRM Whole Grain Pancake & Waffle Mix
Servings: 11 Half-Cup servings
Nutrition per half cup of mix: 217 Calories, 34g Carbohydrates, 3g Fat, 16g Protein, 4g Sugar

2 Cups Whole wheat flour
2 Cups Old fashioned oats
5 Scoops (1 ¼ Cups) Vanilla protein powder (We love Isagenix Isapro)
½ Cup Buttermilk powder (non-instant)
¼ Cup Coconut sugar
3 Tbsp Baking powder
2.5 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Salt
Place all ingredients in a food processor and whirl on high several minutes until you have a very fine texture. Store in an airtight container in the pantry until ready to use.
To make your pancakes
1. Mix ½ Cup of mixture with 1/3-1/2 Cup water, (to your desired consistency)
2. Pour mixture onto hot griddle and cook approx. 1-2 minutes, flip and cook an additional 30 sec – 1 min.
Each half cup of mixture will make 3 nice size pancakes.
To make waffles
1. Mix ½ cup mixture with 1/3 cup water
2. Pour into hot waffle iron. Close and cook for approx. 4-5 min.
You can easily increase the protein by replacing some of the water with liquid egg whites, milk, or whole eggs.
Experiment with different flavours by using different flavours of protein, or adding spices or cocoa powder.
